Sylvester Stallone Picks Conor McGregor To Beat Floyd Mayweather

When UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor battles Floyd Mayweather this August, there are going to be a plethora of celebrities in the crowd.

One of those celebrities could be Sylvester Stallone, who has made his pick for who will win the boxing super fight.

"You know who's gonna win. You know who's gonna win!" Stallone told TMZ Sports. "I only got the underdog. It's great for boxing. [McGregor]'s a real life Rocky. But then again … I live in fantasy."

Stallone is one of the biggest action stars in all the world, but may be known best for starring in the six classic "Rocky" movies and the sequel "Creed." He also starred opposite Robert De Niro in "Grudge Match."

Not only does Stallone think McGregor can pull the upset, but he thinks that McGregor is going to “hurt” Mayweather.

"[Mayweather]'s gonna get hurt," he said. "Nah, I'm only kidding. Let's put it this way guys, it's never been done before. Never been done before! So you never know."

Conor McGregor versus Floyd Mayweather takes place on Saturday, August 26 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
