Catch 2/2 Win IWGP Junior Tag Titles At NJPW Dominion, Dan Moloney Turns On United Empire
United Empire back on top.
Catch 2/2 (TJP & Francesco Akira) regained the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Titles at NJPW Dominion by defeating Intergalactic Jet Setters (KUSHIDA & Kevin Knight).
The finish saw Catch 2/2 hit the 2×2 on Knight for the victory.
After the bout, Bullet Club member Clark Connors made his way to ringside to confront the new champions. Dan Moloney, who was cornering Catch 2/2, turned on the new champions and aligned with Connors, who he had a heated rivalry with during the Best of Super Juniors 30.
