Orange Cassidy Retains AEW International Title At AEW Double Or Nothing In Blackjack Battle Royale

Orange Cassidy survives. 

Orange Cassidy retained the AEW International Championship at AEW Double or Nothing, winning the Blackjack Battle Royale. 

Cassidy and Swerve were the final two men in the battle royal. The two ended up on the apron with both men holding on. Swerve went for a double stomp on the apron, but Cassidy got hit feet up. Swerve hold onto the top rope, and Cassidy teased the Orange Punch before simply kicking Swerve’s hand off the rope. 

The final four came down to Swerve Strickland, Big Bill, Penta El Zero Miedo, and Orange Cassidy. Big Bill eliminated Penta with a big boot followed by a clothesline over the top rope. Bill was looking to press Cassidy over the top, but Swerve pushed him from behind, sending Bill over the top rope and eliminating him.

Cassidy has now made 23 successful defenses of the AEW International Championship since winning it on the October 12, 2022 episode of AEW Dynamite.
