Daniel Garcia: I’m So Glad I Didn’t Join Blackpool Combat Club, I’d Never Wear A Sleeveless Hoodie
Daniel Garcia is glad he chose the Jericho Appreciation Society over the Blackpool Combat Club.
Daniel Garcia is glad he chose the Jericho Appreciation Society over the Blackpool Combat Club.
In March 2022, Chris Jericho revealed Garcia as one of the first members of the Jericho Appreciation Society, a stable that was based around sports entertainment. But shortly thereafter, Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley, and William Regal founded the Blackpool Combat Club, a group that emphasized the sport of professional wrestling.
At different points over the next few months, Danielson tried to recruit Garcia to the Blackpool Combat Club, and fans often chanted “You’re a wrestler” at Garcia. Despite some heavy teases that Garcia would leave Chris Jericho and join Danielson, he remained loyal to the J.A.S. Garcia memorably turned on Danielson on the October 12, 2022 episode of AEW Dynamite and cost him his match with Chris Jericho.
In a tweet, Garcia wrote that he was glad he didn’t join the Blackpool Combat Club, as he noted there’s no way he would wear a sleeveless hoodie.

The tweet seemingly came in response to a promo by the Blackpool Combat Club that AEW shared in a tweet; in the video, the members of the group could be seen wearing sleeveless hoodies, and apparently, Garcia isn’t a fan of their fashion sense.
After Dynamite, @JonMoxley accepted @KennyOmegamanX‘s challenge to fight in a cage!
Will @TonyKhan sanction an Omega vs Mox cage match, and if so, when and where will it take place?
