Bad Bunny To Face Damian Priest In San Juan Street Fight At WWE Backlash

Bad Bunny will face Damian Priest at WWE Backlash.

Bad Bunny will face Damian Priest at WWE Backlash.

The popular rapper returned to WWE at WrestleMania 39, where he stepped Dominik Mysterio from using a steel chain on Rey Mysterio during their match. By interfering in the bout, Bad Bunny inserted himself into Rey’s feud with The Judgment Day (Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor, Damian Priest, and Rhea Ripley). On the April 3 episode of WWE Raw, Bad Bunny was in the crowd, and Dominik confronted him. Bad Bunny then punched Dominik, and Damian Priest slammed the former WWE 24/4 Champion through the broadcast table.

Bunny, who was set to host the WWE Backlash premium live event in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on May 6, returned to WWE on the April 24 episode of WWE Raw. There, he made the save after Priest attacked Mysterio following their match. He repeatedly hit Priest with a kendo stick before he revealed that, rather than hosting WWE Backlash, he will be facing Priest in a San Juan Street Fight at the show.

This will be Bad Bunny’s third-ever match in WWE. Bunny was previously featured in the Men’s Royal Rumble match in 2022, and he made his debut alongside Priest in a tag team match at WWE WrestleMania 37 against The Miz and John Morrison.
