Blackpool Combat Club Attacks Christopher Daniels, Vikingo Retains | AEW Rampage Fight Size

Here is your fight size update following AEW Rampage on Saturday, April 22, 2023:

– In the opening contest, Jon Moxley defeated Christopher Daniels, and while at first, it appeared that MOX was showing honor to the ROH original, a backstage attack by the Blackpool Combat Club showed that they hadn’t changed at all, and Jon Moxley would say as much.

– In a backstage promo with Lexy Nair, “Smart” Mark Sterling revealed that Taya Valkyrie could not use The Road to Valhalla/Jaded/Glam Slam in her upcoming TBS Championship match against Jade Cargill on the April 26 episode of AEW Dynamite. These legal maneuverings haven’t stopped Valkyrie yet, but going up against Cargill might.

– Also, on April 26, Orange Cassidy will defend his International Championship against Bandido.

– Jeff Jarrett, Jay Lethal, and FTR scored a win over the Varsity Athletes and Slim J, but the match did not come without its miscommunications, and now Dax and Jarrett will go one-on-one on April 26’s AEW Dynamite.

– Additionally, set for April 26, Adam Cole will be looking to address the recent beatdown of himself and Brit Baker.

– Fans can check out the full lineup for the 4/26/23 Dynamite at this link.

– Julia Hart defeated Kiera Hogan on AEW Rampage, and afterward, Hart was attacked by Anna Jay. Jay is still showing the side effects of being misted in the face by Julia previously.

– Jeff Hardy addressed his comeback, but the celebration was short-lived as The Firm attacked the Hardy Party.

– Keith Lee and Dustin Rhodes will be in tag team action next week on AEW Rampage.

– In the main event, El Hijo del Vikingo defended his AAA Mega Championship against Dralistico and suffered a beatdown at the hands of La Faccion Ingobernable as AEW Rampage went off the air.
