Jeff Hardy comments on the future of his AEW career, and The Firm attacks the Hardy Party before they can announce a date for “The Firm Deletion.”
On the April 22, 2023 episode of AEW Rampage, Jeff Hardy cut his first promo in front of a live audience since returning to AEW on April 12, 2023. Addressing the audience, Jeff said that it took him a while to be ready to return. He thinks the right thing for him is to retire, retire from screwing up, that is.
Jeff Hardy promised to end his career in AEW and do so on an extremely high note.

Then, Matt Hardy was ready to address The Firm and announce a date for The Firm Deletion when Stokely Hathaway’s group attacked them from behind, prolonging the announcement of the match for another week.
