AJ Mendez (AJ Lee) Joins Cast Of Comedy Film ‘Sacramento’ Alongside Kristen Stewart & Michael Cera
AJ Mendez is coming to the big screen once again.
According to Deadline, the former AJ Lee has been cast in the upcoming road trip comedy film ‘Sacramento’ alongside big stars such Micheal Cera (Scott Pilgrim vs. The World) and Kristen Stewart (Twilight). among others. According to the outlet, Mendez will play a ex-professional fighter who helps out one of the main characters in the movie.
The film is set to begin production this spring. ‘Sacramento’ is set to be both written and directed by Michael Angarano.
‘Sacramento’ will be Mendez’s first on screen role since Rabid (2019). In late 2022, the Mendez written movie ‘Blade of the 47 Ronin’ was released on Netflix.
Mendez recently made her return to the wrestling scene in 2022 as she joined WOW (Women Of Wrestling) as an executive producer and commentator. The former WWE Divas Champion has been adament on the fact that she doesn’t exactly feel motivated enough to make a in-ring return.
