Saraya Recalls Telling Paul Heyman She Wanted To Be A ‘Paul Heyman Girl’

Saraya wanted to work with Paul Heyman on-screen in WWE.

Steve, Austin, Kurt Angle, Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, and more have benefited from working with Paul Heyman on TV. However, in recent years, no women have been managed by Paul Heyman. That’s not for lack of trying by some women who have come to WWE in recent years.

Speaking with Josh Martinez on Superstar Crossover, Saraya, formerly known as Paige in WWE, briefly recalled telling Paul Heyman personally that she wanted to work with him.  The former Divas Champion also reflected on being put in Paul Heyman’s book, something she was very excited about.

“I wanted to be a Paul Heyman girl. So, I mean, everyone wanted to be a Paul Heyman girl. But yeah, I even said to him at one point, ‘I want to be a Paul Heyman girl.’ I was in his book. He put me this book and I was like, ‘Oh my god, I love you.’ I was very excited,” she said
