Nick Wayne To Make AEW Debut On 7/12 AEW Dynamite Against Swerve Strickland
Nick Wayne’s debut date is set.
Nick Wayne is set to make his AEW debut on the July 12 episode of AEW Dynamite when he takes on Swerve Strickland. The bout comes one day after Wayne’s 18th birthday.
The match was set up at the April 8 DEFY Wrestling event when Strickland called out Wayne after losing the DEFY Championship to Wayne. The two are 1-1 against each other.

Nick Wayne signed an apprenticeship deal with AEW in February 2022 when he was 16 years old. He was front row for the AEW event in Seattle in January to see Darby Allin win the AEW TNT Championship.
Strickland will face Allin on the April 12 episode of AEW Dynamite.
