Team Bully Ray Set For Hardcore War At IMPACT Rebellion 2023; Team Tommy Dreamer Has One Spot Open
An update on the upcoming Hardcore War bout at IMPACT Rebellion.
Tommy Dreamer and Bully Ray will lead two teams of five into a Hardcore War at IMPACT Rebellion. Hardcore War essentially plays out like a WarGames match without the cage.
Following the IMPACT episode on April 6, the identity of all the team members of Team Bully is complete. The WWE Hall of Famer will lead John Skylar, Jason Hotch, Kenny King, and Masha Slamovich against Tommy Dreamer’s team consisting of himself, Killer Kelly, Yuya Uemura, Frankie Kazarian, and a partner yet to be named.
Rebellion will play host to the return of Hardcore War as Bully Ray and Tommy Dreamer lead their respective teams into battle. At Sacrifice, the archrivals went head-to-head in the first-ever Busted Open match, which saw Bully bend the rules in order to achieve victory. But what happened after the bell would shock the wrestling world to its core. IMPACT President Scott D’Amore made his return after being brutally attacked by Bully back in January. D’Amore would join forces with Dreamer and other members of the IMPACT locker room to push back against Bully and his minions, capping it off with a jaw-dropping Canadian Destroyer to Jason Hotch. In an attempt to settle their differences once and for all, both Bully and Dreamer must now recruit a team for Hardcore War, a match in which there are no disqualifications, no countouts and absolutely anything goes. We now know that Team Bully will consist of Bully Ray, The Good Hands, Kenny King and Masha Slamovich. Joining Team Dreamer will be Tommy Dreamer Yuya Uemura, Frankie Kazarian and Killer Kelly, with one spot left to be filled.
On April 13, an advantage match will be held between Frankie Kazarian and Kenny King to decide which team will have the advantage as the match plays out on Sunday, April 16. Check out the full card for the April 13 episode of IMPACT on AXS at this link.
