Bad Bunny Says He Had The Best Day Of His Life When He Made His WWE In-Ring Debut At WrestleMania 37
Bad Bunny says he had the best day of his life when he made his WWE in-ring debut.
The popular rapper first appeared at WWE Royal Rumble 2021, where he performed his song, “Booker T”. He then appeared several times on WWE TV, and he even won the WWE 24/7 Championship. At WrestleMania 37, Bad Bunny teamed up with Damian Priest to defeat The Miz and Bad Bunny. During the match, he memorably hit Morrison with a Canadian Destroyer.
During an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Bad Bunny was asked about his love for wrestling.
“I love wrestling since I was a kid. In my songs, I have a lot of wrestling references. WWE said, ‘Woah, this guy is a fan of us so we should [do] something with him.’ So they asked, ‘You want to be a referee?’ I said I want to fight. ‘Really? You sure?’ Yeah, I want to fight. I want to be in the ring, and I want to fight,” Bad Bunny said.
When asked whether he was nervous ahead of the match, Bad Bunny replied, “I was, I really was. That day, I’m not 100% sure, but I think that’s the best day of my life. Yes, that’s the best day of my life.”
