Wrestling Fans Must Unite And Bully Cole Radrick Into Running Second SpongeBob Tournament

On June 22, 2019, Cole Radrick ran what was advertised as the first annual Smitty Werbenjägermanjensen Memorial Tournament.

Smitty Werbenjägermanjensen was famously number one in the cartoon SpongeBob SquarePants.

The tournament did not end up being an annual event, instead it was one and done with no plans for a second tournament.

Until now.

Pressure has mounted on Cole to run a second Smitty Werbenjägermanjensen Memorial Tournament. Pressure from independent wrestlers like Billie Starkz and Adam Slade, photographer and promoter Mouse, and now, Fightful and hopefully fellow wrestling and SpongeBob fans.

“It has to be right. I just haven’t felt it. Now, when I do it, it has to blow the first one out of the water. It has to, in my mind. If we were to run the second Smitty, there’s a good chance of it. it’s a thought that has been turning in my head for a long time and it’s now starting…’What would it be? What does it look like? Who?’ It’s definitely something that’s going to happen sooner rather than later,” Radrick told Fightful. “The first SpongeBob show, we had first round matches and we had the Bikini Bottom Street Fight. I want to have the Super Weenie Hut Junior Battle Royal, but I’m afraid I’m not going to be able to find enough Super Weenie Hut Juniors around.”

Wrestlers should be lining up to be considered a Super Weenie Hut Junior as it’s the quickest path to get into the Salty Spitoon.

Before a potential second SpongeBob show, Cole will run a show on April 28 in Spencer, Indiana.

“If this show knocks it out of the park, this show is going to be badass, no doubt about it. Already getting hit up for tickets. If this show goes well, I can probably be talked into running another Smitty Werbenjägermanjensen Cup. It was a lot of fun, the first one, it was the most successful show I’ve ran. I just don’t want to do it unless it’s right. I’ve been bothered enough about it. The demand is back. There are people who want to see it, want to do it. My thing is, I want it to be good. If we run it again, I want it to be a big thing where people want to come to it. That’s the thing that is important to me. We’ll see what 2023 brings,” he said.

The pressure is on. Fans in Indiana need to support the show on April 28 and ensure a second SpongeBob show will be run.

Or we must simply bully Cole into running the SpongeBob show. We’re all Goofy Goobers. It’s time to prove it.
