David Finlay Joins Bullet Club, Advances In New Japan Cup At NJPW 51st Anniversary
Bullet Club has a new member.
At the NJPW 51st Anniversary event on March 6, David Finlay officially joined Bullet Club. Finlay attacked Jay White at NJPW Battle in the Valley after White, who was the previous leader of Bullet Club, lost a Loser Leaves NJPW match to Eddie Kingston.
Finlay also advanced in the first round of the New Japan Cup, defeating Tomohiro Ishii. Finlay will now face Great-O-Khan, who received a first-round bye, in the second round on March 15.
Shota Umino also advanced in the first round of the tournament, defeating Yujiro Takahashi. Umino will face Zack Sabre Jr, who also received a first-round bye, on March 15 as well.
