With just over 30 minutes remaining, Danielson took the first fall with the running knee and the second fall after MJF hit him with a low blow to go up 2-0. However, Danielson was incapacitated after the low blow and MJF scored two quick falls to make it 2-2.
Just as the clocked passed the 40-minute mark, MJF hit the heat seeker to go up 3-2. Before the heat seeker, MJF hit a tombstone piledriver on Danielson through a partially broken table on the outside.
Danielson tied it at three with just over 10 minutes left, forcing MJF to tap to the Regal stretch after a running knee.
MJF has now made two successful title defenses of the AEW World Title. He’s been the AEW World Champion since AEW Full Gear 2022 when he defeated Jon Moxley.
