– Tony Schiavone, Taz & Excalibur started proceedings with Renee Paquette in interview duties before they transitioned to the opening contest.
Mark Briscoe & Lucha Bros (Penta El Zero Miedo & Rey Fenix) (w/ Alex Abrahantes) vs. Ari Daivari & Varsity Athletes (Josh Woods & Tony Nese) (w/ “Smart” Mark Sterling).
Penta & Nese began the match in a Greco-Roman lock before Nese evaded & flexed his bicep to Penta. Penta did the “Zero Miedo” taunt before the six men exchanged strikes in the middle of the ring. Briscoe & Fenix brawled with Daivari & Woods on the outside before Briscoe & Fenx hit stereo dropkicks on them to the outside, which Briscoe hit a Blockbuster on Woods. Meanwhile, in the ring, Penta hit the Made In Japan on Nese for a near fall. Sterling shouted at Penta before Penta brought Sterling on the ring, but Nese stomped Penta away. Woods tagged in and slammed Penta in the ring corner before hitting a suplex for a near fall. Daivari tagged in and hit a series of punches on Penta before he & Nese hit a double-stalling suplex on Penta. Daivari laid in the punches on Penta before connecting a neck breaker on Penta for a near fall. & DaivariThe Varsity Athletes continued to triple-team Penta in the corner, but Penta hit thrust kicks on all three until he hit a Cazadora off Woods into a double DDT on Daivari & Nese before hitting slingblade on Woods. Fenix tagged in and hit a series of heel kicks before hitting a walk-rope arm drag on Daivari. Fenix went for a springboard move, but Woods caught him with a Shinning Wizard mid-air before hitting a brainbuster onto the corner on Fenix for a near fall. Nese tagged in and put Fenix on the top rope for a DVD, but Fenix reversed it with a Frankensteiner before tagging in Briscoe. Briscoe hit a series of palm strikes on Daivari & Woods before hitting a Pele kick on Woods, a running single-leg kick on Nese & a another on Daivari before connecting a neck breaker on him.
Fenix & Penta hit Topes Con Giro on Woods & Nese before Briscoe got a chair and hit a Tope Con Giro off a chair onto Woods & Daivari. Briscoe went for a top rope move, but Nese pulled him into the corner before tagging in. Woods & Daivari tried to attack Briscoe, but Fenix & Penta got them before Fenix, Penta & Briscoe hit a blockbuster/ powerbomb combo, but Nese hit a 450 on Briscoe for a near fall. The six men laid in strikes on one another before Briscoe went for the Jay Driller, but Daivari hit him with a contract for Daivari to get a near fall after Sterling’s distraction. Daivari tried to hit the Jay Driller on Briscoe, but Lucha bros caught them with double thrust kicks before connecting the Fear Factor on Nese & Woods before Briscoe hit the Froggy Boy on Daivari for the pinfall win.
After the match, Abrahantes pulled Sterling and sent him into the ring before Penta hit the Package Piledriver on Sterling.

– RJ City interviewed Matt Meynar, Angelo Parker & “Red Death” Daniel Garcia of the Jericho Appreciation Society backstage because of them being banned from the match. The three hooted & hollered before Jericho joined the interview as RJ City was afraid.
– RJ City interviewed Toni Storm and tried to get some answers from her, but she refused to answer before saying that she will continue naming the hip attack “Sweet Cheeks Music”. Storm spray-pained an L on RJ City’s bum.
– Dr. Britt Baker DMD was interviewed by Renee Paquette on the ringside area, with Baker telling Saraya that she was in her house and declaring that Jamie Hayter would win her match against Saraya & Ruby Soho.
– Powerhouse Hobbs was interviewed backstage by RJ City, who was terrified by Hobbs’s presence. When asked if he had a preference between Wardlow or Samoa Joe, to which Hobbs responded by saying that he will whenever he opens the Book of Hobbs. RJ City asked what was in the book, Hobbs offered to be a part of the book before RJ City politely declined the offer.
– Renee Paquette interviewed Sonjay Dutt before declaring that Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal would win the AEW Tag Team Championships.
– Adam Cole was interviewed backstage by RJ City regarding the debut for “AEW All Access”. RJ City asked Cole how it felt to have a camera at all times, to which Cole responded by saying that it was nerve-wracking. RJ City asked Cole if he was ready for his AEW Return, to which Cole responded that he was stating that RJ City was not worthy of knowing who was his opponent for his return.
Main Card.
– Jim Ross, Excalibur & Taz welcomed the audience to the main broadcast (with Tony Schiavone joining during the broadcast) before transitioning to the opening match.
Jericho Appreciation Society Banned from Ringside.
Ricky Starks vs. Chris Jericho.
The opening contest began with the two exchanging punches before Starks slammed Jericho’s into the ring corners before he laid a series of punches on Jericho. Jericho responded with a series of chops before Starks responded with a shoulder tackle to send Jericho to the outside. Starks hit a Tope Suicida on Jericho to the outside before slamming him onto the corner. Back in the ring, Jericho hit a series of chops on Starks before slamming Jericho to the corner with an Irish Whip. Jericho went for a Lionsault, but Starks evaded. Starks hit Jericho, but Jericho hit a Suplex lift on Starks onto the top rope.
Starks & Jericho brawled on the outside before Jericho slammed Starks into the barricade. Back in the ring, Jericho laid in the punches on Starks in the corner before Jericho hit a double under-hook backbreaker on Starks. Starks got back up and hit a series of slaps on Jericho before skimming the cat in the corner, but Jericho responded with a springboard dropkick on Starks onto the apron before hitting a sliding dropkick to send Starks crashing to the outside. Jericho got Starks back in the ring before locking in an Abdominal Stretch on Starks, but Starks got out of the hold and hit a forearm strike before connecting a Tornado DDT on Jericho for a near fall. Starks got on the top rope, but Jericho dropped him before going for a Superplex, but Starks hit a Facebuster off the top rope on Jericho before going for an ax handle, but Jericho caught him with a gut kick to the abdomen for a near fall. Jericho hit an Irish Whip on Starks and went for a Code Breaker, but Starks caught him and hit a Powerbomb on Jericho for a near fall. Starks went for Roshambo, but Jericho ran the ropes before connecting the Code Breaker on Starks for a near fall.
The two exchanged strikes before Starks tossed Jericho onto the apron, but Jericho climbed to the top rope and went for a dive, but Starks evaded and hit a Spear on Jericho for a near fall. The two butted heads before exchanging closed fists to the head, but Starks responded with a leaping thrust kick going for a Moonsault Press, but Jericho evaded and locked in the Walls of Jericho. Starks rolled over and locked in a Single Leg Crab on Jericho as Sammy Guevara walked down the ramp, but Action Adretti speared Guevara. As the referee was distracted, Jericho hit Starks with Floyd the bat before going for the Judas Effect, but Starks blocked it & hit a series of lariats before hitting a V-Trigger and the Roshambo for the decisive pinfall win

The Final Burial Match.
“Jungle Boy” Jack Perry vs. Christian Cage.
Cage & Perry began the match exchanging punches before Perry hit a double-leg takedown before Cage rolled out of the ring. Cage & Perry brawled on the outside before Cage hit a chop on Perry. Perry went back in the ring and attempted a Tope Suicida, but Cage did a sidestep before he walked to the crowd area. The two brawled on Section 9 of the crowd arena before Perry tossed a drink from a fan over Cage’s head. Back in the ringside area, Perry walked to the ramp, but Perry attacked him & went for the Casket on the ramp, but Cage evaded and got back in the ring. Back in the ring, Perry slammed Cage on the corner, but Cage slammed Perry onto the mat off the middle rope before he blew a kiss to Perry’s sister & mother. Cage got Perry in a Bow & Arrow while stepping on Perry’s head, Cage got Perry in a double-leg choke on the middle rope before leaping to the outside and going for a slap, but Perry evaded and hit a Tope Suicida on Cage before slamming Cage onto the stairs. Cage was busted open from his eyebrow as he slammed Perry onto the stair. Cage took Perry’s belt off before whipping him with the belt on his back multiple times as he walked him to the ramp via belt whips.
On the ramp, Cage got Perry in a belt-assisted Camel Clutch before letting the hold go and opening the casket, which had two chairs inside. Perry got back up and laid in the strikes on Cage before going for a Powerbomb, but Cage reversed it with a back-drop onto the soil ground. age sit a chair up and went for a Killswitch on Perry onto the chair, but Perry pushed him off the stage before hitting running Senton onto Cage off the stage. Perry got a chair and went for a chair shot on Cage, but Cage responded with a low blow on Perry to evade the chair shot. Cage slammed Perry onto the casket placing Perry in the casket as he tried to close it, but Perry stopped Cage. Perry got off the casket and tried to attack Cage, but Cage tossed soil onto Perry’s face before hitting a Killswitch on Perry on the stage. Cage went for the Con-chair-To on Perry, but Perry evaded and hit Cage with a shovel. Perry tried to choke out Cage with the Shovel, but Cage racked his eyes. Cage tried to hit Perry with the Shovel, but Perry evaded and locked in the Snare Trap before choking him out. Despite this, Perry decided to add more certainty to Cage being knocked out by hitting the standing Con-Chair-To on Cage before placing him in the casket. Perry kissed Cage on the forehead before closing the casket to win the match.

AEW World Trios Championship Match.
The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) (c) (w/ Brandon Cutler & Michael Nakazawa) vs. House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King & Buddy Matthews) (w/ Julia Hart).
Omega & Matthews began the match to the hype of the crowd. The two began the match locking up before Matthews got a wrist lock on Omega, but Omega did a kip up and got a wrist lock into an overhead takedown on Matthews. The two ran the ropes as the two exchanged holds before Omega went for a V-Trigger, but Matthews evaded as the two had a stare-down before Black tagged in. Omega got a wrist lock on Black before black hit a sweep takedown on Omega. Omega flipped over Black and went for a wrist lock, but Black reversed it with an arm drag before going for the Black Mass, but Omega evaded before going for the One-Winged Angel but Black evaded before Omega leaned back as Black sat down cross-legged. Matt Jackson tagged in and called out Brody King before he tagged in, but Matt regretted it and tried to tag in Nick, but Nick stepped back. The Bucks hit stereo dropkicks on King, but King hit shoulder tackles on them before hitting a shoulder tackle on Omega. the Two teams got in a stalemate before the six men exchanged strikes. The Bucks hit a facebuster on Matthews before Nick hit a Moonsualt on Black to the outside until Matt hit a cross-body on Black & Matthews. In the ring, Omega hit a Hurricanrana on King before hitting a Tope Con Giro on all three members of the house of Black to the outside.
Back in the ring, Nick Jackson hit a 450 Splash on King, but King immediately got back up. Nick went for the Walk Rope, but King slammed Nick to the mat before hitting a chop on Matt & headbutting Omega to the outside. The House of Black viciously attacked The Elite on the outside before Black hit a running body press on Omega into the barricade. Back in the ring, Matthews tagged back in and went for Murphy’s Law, but Nick reversed it with a Wheelbarrow for a near fall before King tagged in and hit a Big Veal on Nick. Omega tagged back in and hit a cross-body on King before hitting ax handles on Black & Matthews. Omega hit a sliding kick on King before hitting the Dunk Bulldog on King for a near fall. Omega hit a Green Bay Slam on King before going for a Moonsault press, but king lifted his knees before Matthews hit a shotgun dropkick on Omega. The Jacksons hit thrust kicks on Black & Matthews before Omega evaded King’s senton & hit a V-Trigger on King for a near fall. Omega went for a V-Trigger & a Snap Dragon on King, but King dropped his weight before hitting a wicked short-arm lariat on Omega. Matthews & Black tagged in before setting up for Dante’s Inferno, but The Jacksons blocked it before Black hit knee strikes on The Jacksons. Black locked in a knee bar on Omega, but Nick hit an elbow drop on Black before Matt hit a Sliced Bread on Matthews off Black’s chest, but Black responded with a boot on Matt.
Omega & Black had a stare-down before the two exchanged forearm strikes. Omega & Black exchanged knee strikes before the two crumbled onto the mat. King got a choke on Nick, but Matt hit thrust kicks on King before Omega hit a V-Trigger on King. Omega hit two Snap Dragon Suplexes on Black before going for a V-Trigger, but Julia Hart got on the apron to distract Omega. Black rolled over, but Omega caught Hart with a V-Trigger before Black hti the Black Mass on Omega for a near fall, thanks to Nick Jackson breaking the pin. Matthews & King tossed Nick to the outside before King & Matthews hit Dante’s inferno on Omega. King hit a Tope Suicida on The Jackson before he & Matthews tossed the Jacksons to over the barricade. The three surrounded Omega in the ring, but The Jacksons pulled Matthews & King to the outside before tuning up the band and starting Superkick Party on the House of black. Omega & the Bucks hit the BTE Trigger on Black to get a pin, but Matthews broke the pin. The Bucks called for the Meltzer Driver on Black, but Matthews caught Nick with a knee Strike mid-air before Black hit a Black Mass on Matt followed by Matthews & Black hitting Dante’s Inferno on Matt Jackson for the pinfall win.
Winners: House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King & Buddy Matthews) (w/ Julia Hart) (AND NEW AEW Trios Tag Team Champions).
AEW Women’s World Championship Match.
Jamie Hayter (c) (w/ Dr. Britt Baker DMD) vs. Saraya (w/ Toni Storm) vs. Ruby Soho.
Hayter laid in the forearm strikes on Saraya to begin the match before hitting a shoulder tackle on Soho, but Saraya pulled Hayter out of the ring before slamming her onto the stairs & the barricade, but Soho caught Saraya with a dropkick off the apron. Soho dumped Saraya over the barricade before hitting cross-body on Hayter & Saraya off the barricade. Saraya & Hayter got over the barricade back in at ringside before the two got back in the ring. Saraya laid her boot on Hayter in the corner before hitting a series of stomps on Hayter for a near fall.
Saraya hit. series of knee strikes on Hayter going for suplex on Hayter on the apron, but Hayter dropped her weight before hitting Uranage on Saraya on the apron. Hayter was back in the ring, but Soho hit a diving cross-body on Hayter before hitting an STO on Hayter for a near fall. Soho got a headlock before Saraya got back in the ring and fired away with punches on Hayter, but Hayter placed Saraya and Soho across the corners before hitting corner splashes, a double corner lariat, a double suplex & double lariats on Saraya & Soho for a near fall. Sarya hit a forearm strike on Hayter, but Soho hit. aknee strike on Saraya. Soho hit an STO on Saraya, but Hayter hit a back breaker on Soho.The three exchanged strikes before Hayter & Soho hit consecutive forearm strikes on Saraya before firing away at her. Soho got Hayter on her knees (not that way) and hit a spike Rana on Hayter for a near fall. Soho got on the top rope, but Hayter laid in the strikes on Soho and climbed to the middle rope before Saraya came in and connected Soho & Hayter with a Tower of Doom for a near fall on Hayter. Saraya locked in the PTO on Soho, but Saraya caught her with a wicked lariat. Strom distracted Hayter before Saraya hit a Fisherman’s DDT on Hayter, but Baker distracted the referee before Soho hit Destination Unknown for a near fall. Soho went for the No Future kick, but Hayter evaded and hit a lariat on Soho before getting a crucifix on Soho for the pinfall win.
After the match, Storm attacked before Baker & Soho tossed her & Saraya out of the ring. Soho then hit the No Future kick before Storm & Saraya attacked everyone at ringside and spray painted Hayter & Baker on the chest with a green “L”.

Texas Deathmatch.
Jon Moxley vs. ‘Hangman’ Adam Page.
Page immediately attacked Moxley at ringside to begin the match. The two brawled in the crowd arena before they got back at ringside and slammed Moxley onto the barricade. Back in the ring, The two exchanged strikes before Moxley took off his vest & t-shirt before the two fired away with strikes again. Moxley caught Page with a forearm strike before going to the outside and wrapping barbwire across his arm. Page leaned Moxley’s barbed wire onto his forehead before hitting a running boot on Moxley. Page wrapped the barbed wire on his leg before going for a stomp, but Moxley rolled over and hit a series of right hands on Page before biting his face. Moxley wrapped another piece of barbed wire on his fist before connecting a jab on Page with the barbed wire, busting his head open. Moxley got, of all things, a fork and tried to stab Page with a fork, but Page hit a double-leg takedown before Moxley locked in a Triangle Choke on Page and stabbed Page in the forehead with a fork, splattering blood all over his chest.
Moxley continued to stab Page in the forehead before going outside and getting a barbed wire-wrapped chair to the ring. Moxley placed the chair on the corner, but Page got back up before going for a corner spear on Moxley, but Moxley evaded and slammed Page onto the barbed-wire wrapped chair. Because. he is a maniac, Moxley locked in a Single-leg crab on Page while he was over the barbed-wired chair before hitting Page with the chair to the back. Moxley got two normal chairs. to the ring, but Moxley wrapped the chairs with another cable of barbed wire. Moxley fired away with punches in the corner on Page, but Page got Moxley and hit a vicious powerbomb on Moxley onto the standing barbed-wired chair. Page sent Moxley to the outside before he wrapped himself in barbed wire and hit a Moonsault press on Moxley outside. Page got Moxley & himself back in the ring, but Moxley caught him with a cutter. Moxley got two bricks & a chain the ring before sandwiching Page’s hand with the bricks and hitting a curb stomp on Page’s hand. Moxley then got the chain and hit a Piledriver on Page onto the chain. Moxley kicked Page in the head before wrapping Page’s legs with a chain and locking in the STF on Page, but Page bit Moxley’s hand before smacking Moxley right in the dome, which Moxley reacted angrily before setting up two chairs and a barbed wired board on the outside. Moxley got back. in the ring and went for another Piledriver, but Page got up before hitting suplex into a lariat on Moxley. Page wrapped his forearm with barbed wire before hitting a rolling forearm on Moxley and hitting a Fall-Away Slam on Moxley into the barbed wired chair, but Page was not done and hit the Deadeye on Moxley onto the barbed wire chair.
Moxley got to the outside, but Pagesaw this and hit a diving cross-body on Moxley to the outside onto a barbed-wired board. Moxley got back up at the count of nine as Page climbed to the top rope, but Moxley mode the rope before setting up a chair and slamming his nails on Page’s back. Moxley racked Page’s back with barbed wire, but page moved Moxley of the corner, but Moxley responded by slamming Page to the outside onto a barbed-wired board. Page got back in the ring, but Moxley caught him with a lariat. The two got back up and exchanged strikes before Page hit a lariat before going for the Buckshot, but Moxley evaded and hit the Death Rider before hitting a Curb Stomp on Page onto two bricks to a sickening sound. Page got back up, but Moxley responded by locking in a Rear-Naked Choke on Page before making him pass out. Page still got back up before the two got a hold of a chain. Page responded by hitting a lariat off the chain on Moxley before going for a Rear-Naked choke, but Moxley hit a low blow on Page, but page repsonded by hitting Moxley with a brick in the head before hitting the Buckshot Lariat on Moxley. Moxley got back up, but page clotheslining him onto the apron before locking in a chain choke on Moxley while he was hanging on the apron, which led to Moxley tapping out for the submission win for Page.

TNT Championship Match.
Samoa Joe (c) vs. Wardlow.
Wardlow immediately attacked Joe in the corner before the two brawled on the outside. Samoa Joe got back in the ring before connecting a Tope Suicida on Wardlow to the outside. The two brawled on the outside before the two got back in the ring and laid in the punches on Wardlow, but Wardlow hit the Whisper in the Wind on Joe before hitting an Irish Whip on Joe into the corner. Wardlow hit a running elbow drop on Joe before connecting a lariat on Joe in the corner. Wardlow got Joe in a Fireman’s Carry, but Joe got off and hit a front-leg sweep on Wardlow. Joe hit a series of body shots on Wardlow, but Wardlwo sent Joe with an Irish Whip before Joe hit a Standing Uranage on Wardlow to the delight of Powerhouse Hobbs on the Media area.
Joe hit a series of kicks on Wardlow in his left leg before locking in a knee bar on Wardlow, but Wardlow got a rope break to break the hold. Wardlow got back up and hit a Spinebuster on Joe before getting Joe up and hitting an F10 on Joe. Wardlow climbed to the top rope and hit a Swanton Bomb on Joe for a near fall. Wardlow went for the lariat, but Joe locked in the Coquina Clutch before locking in the body scissors on Wardlow, but Wardlow got to the ropes and got the rope break. Joe got Wardlwo up and hit a Death Valley Driver on Wardlow for a near fall. Joe went for the Muscle Buster on Wardlow, but Wardlow evaded and got Joe up before hitting a Powerbomb on Joe and tried to set up the Powerbomb Symphony, but Joe evaded and hit a lariat on Wardlow. Joe got Wardlow and went for & went for a Crucifix Bomb, but Wardlow evaded and hit a headbutt before locking in a rear naked choke on Joe, which caused Joe to pass out and give Wardlow the submission win.
Winner: Wardlow (AND NEW TNT Champion).
AEW World Tag Team Championship Match.
The Gunns (Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn) (c) vs. The Acclaimed (Max Caster & Anthony Bowens) (w/ Billy Gunn) vs. Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal (Sonjay Dutt & Satnam Singh) vs. Best Friends (AEW All Atlantic Champion Orange Cassidy & Danhausen).
Jarrett & Cassidy began the match,with Jarrett doing the strut. Jarrett went for a lock-up, but Cassidy evaded before doing the strut and hitting a shotgun dropkick on Jarrett, back drops on The Gunns & Lethal. Danhausen tagged in and hit three corner lariats before Dahausen hit a Hurricanrana on Lethal followed by a Northern Lights Suplex for a near fall. Colten Gunn tagged in as The Gunns attacked Danhausen in the corner. The Gunns attacked The Acclaimed after they scissored before Lethal got back in the ring and stomped away at Bowens. Jarrett tagged in and attacked Bowens before Colten tagged in and he & Austin hit a knee lift into a lariat on Bowens for a near fall. Austin Gunn hit a stalling suplex before the Gunns, Jarrett & Lethal scissored in the ring. Jarrett climbed to the top rope, but Bowens evaded everyone from The Gunns, Jarett & Lethal before tagging in Bowens, who hit thrust kicks on everyone before hitting a flying lariat on Lethal for a near fall. Caster went for a DVD on Jarrett, but Lethal hit a thrust kick on Catser before tossing him to theoutside. The Gunns attacked Jarrett. &Lethal before Satnam Singh confronted them and tossed them to theoutside. Satnam Singh was confronted by Danhausen before Danhausen hit a groin punch on Singh followed by Billy Gunn hit the Famouser on Singh, but the Gunns hit a low blow on Billy before tossing him to theoutside. The Acclaimed attacked The Gunns before Bowens & Caster hit the Arrival into the Elbow Drop for a near fall. Colten & Bowens brawled on the outside before Colten tossed Bowens out of the barricade. Jarrett tried to hit Caster with a Guitar, but Caster evaded before he went for a Guitar Shot, but the referee took the guitar away before Lethal hit Caster with a Golden Globe for a near fall. Jarrett & Edwards exchanged words before Austin tossed Jarrett out of the ring, but Danhausen tagged in and hit a German Suplex on Austin before Cursing Austin Gunn and going for the Pump kick, but Austin evaded before hitting the 3:1- to Yuma for the pinfall win.

– Renee Paquette interviewed The Gunns after the match before they demanded respect and claimed to be the best tag team in the world, but they were interrupted by the return of FTR (Dax Hardwood & Cash Wheeler). FTR powerwalked the ramp before Dax tossed Austin to the outside. Dax & Cash hit an assisted Piledriver on Colten before they connected the Shatter Machine on Austin Gunn. The Top Guys are back.

MJF (c) vs. Bryan Danielson.
The main event began the match before MJF rolled out of the ring. MJF got back in the ring before the two locked up before MJF hit a takedown on Danielson. The two locked up again before MJF got a wrist lock on before Danielson reversed it and locked in the Bow & Arrow on MJF into a variant hold for a near fall. MJF went for holds, but Danielson kept evading before going for the LaBelle Lock, but MJF evaded before the two had a staredown. MJF hit a shoulder tackle on Danielson before Danielson hit a hip attack. MJF & Danielson continued to exchange holds, arm drags & more moves before the two did a kip-up and had a staredown. MJF tried to shake Daneilson’s hands, but Danielson kicked MJF’s hand before MJF rolled out of the ring and got to the crowd arena, and threw a soda on a fan. Danielson rolled out of the ring, but MJF immediately got back in and did the strut on Danielson. Danielson got back in the ring and did jumping jacks in front of MJF.
Danielson got a full-nelson on MJF, but MJ evaded the hold before Danielson got a takedown on MJF before locking in the Romero Special into a double stomp on MJF’s knees. MJF pulled the referee in front of him, but Danielson pulled them apart before Danielson hit a series of kicks on MJF. MJF slammed Danielson onto the corner before hitting two consecutive back-drops on Danielson. Danielson got MJF in an Inside Cradle before hitting a back-drop on MJF before hitting another one before doing the “Cuautemoc Blanco” Pose. MJF slammed Danielson’s arm right on the top turnbuckle before getting a water bottle from under the ring and drinking it. Back in the ring, MJF hit a modified Irish Whip on Danielson onto the bottom corner for a near fall. MJF got a shoulder press on Danielson, but Danielson hit a series of body shots before MJF pulled Danielson onto the mat from the head. MJF sent Danielson back in the ring, but Danielson got back up and hit a sliding dropkick before going for a Tope Suicida, but MJF instead slammed Danielson onto the barricade. Back in the ring, MJF hit a Hammerlock DDT on Danielson for a near fall.
MJF got a wrist lock on Danielson before hitting an overhead suplex for a near fall, which he followed by hitting a back suplex on Danielson for a near fall. MJF hit a series of punches on Danielson in the corner before placing him on the top rope and going for an Avalanche Arm Drag, but Danielson hit a series of headbutts before hitting a Sunset Bomb off the top rope on MJF. Danielson got MJF in the corner and hit a series of kicks and chops before hitting three running singe leg kicks & connecting a series of punches on MJF. Danielson got MJF on the top rope & hit a Frankensteiner on MJF for a near fall. Danielson tuned up the band and went for the Running Knee, but MJF hit an elbow strike before hitting a diving double stomp on Danielson’s arm. The two ran the ropes before MJF hit a Bomb-Backbreaker on Danielson for a near fall. MJF went for an Arm Bar, but Danielson rolled over before MJF tossed him into a Catapault into a thrust kick on Danielson to send him to the outside. MJF went for an Asia Moonsualt on Danielson, but Danielson evaded and hit a Tope Suicida on MJF to the outside. Back in the ring, Danielson went for a dive, but MJF evaded and locked in a Fujiwara Arm Bar into a Pump Handle JML Driver on Danielson for a near fall. MJF went for a back suplex on Danielson, but Danielson evaded and hit a lariat on MJF. Danielson got an inside Cradle on MJF before MJF & Danielson exchanged pins. Danielson got a backslide on MJF before getting Small Packages on each other. MJF got a sunset flip on Danielson, but the two rolled over the ring before Danielson went for a Jack-knife, but Danielson reversed it with a pin before the two exchanged Victory Rolls for near falls. Danielson & MJF ran the ropes before MJF hit a lariat on Danielson, but Danielson got up and responded with a lariat of his own. Danielson did a kip-up and hit the Running Knee on MJF to get the first fall of the night (Bryan 1- MJF 0).
Danielson went for a second running knee, but MJF fell face-first onto the mat, but MJF hit a low blow to get two near falls on Danielson, getting the score tied. (MJF 2 – Bryan 2). MJF went for the Heat Seeker on Danielson, but Danielson tossed MJF across the ring before hitting a diving shotgun Dropkick on MJF. MJF & Danielson brawled on the outside before going for a running dropkick, but MJF caught him with a lariat. MJF placed Danielson on a chair before hitting a series of chops before going for a running move, but Danielson hit a lariat before hitting a running knee on MJF onto the barricade. Danielson got MJF in the ring post and slammed MJF’s knee into the ring post. Back in the ring, Danielson aimed at MJF’s knee before locking in the Figure Four on MJF. MJF slapped Danielson repeatedly in the face, but Danielson responded with three slaps before MJF got a rope break to break the hold. Danielson went for a Piledriver on MJF, but MJF evaded, and went for a Tombstone on Danielson, but Danielson evaded. The two exchanged kicks on the apron before Danielson slammed MJF into the apron. Danielson placed MJF on the top rope and hit the Andvil Elbows before going for a back suplex, but MJF punched Danielson in the face before sending him crashing onto the apron into the floor. MJJ slammed Danielson into the ring post and placed Danielson in the Timekeeper’s Table before hitting a Froggy Bow on Danielson off the top rope onto the table on the outside. MJF dragged the referee back in the ring and demanded him to start the count-down, to which he obliged by going for the count-out, but Danielson to get back in the ring at the count of nine to prevent MJF from giving him a fall. MJF got Danielson out of the ring again before hitting a Tombstone on Danielson onto a broken table before getting Danielson back in the ring and hitting the Heat Seeker for another fall (MJF 3. -Bryan 2).
MJF got back outside and drank a hell of a lot of water before getting back in the ring and laying in the punches on Danielson’s head, who was busted open from the Tombstone on the outside. MJF stomped Danielson’s hand before saying “YOU FUCKING SUCK” and declaring he was the best in the world. MJF continued to punch Danielson’s head. MJF took off the shoulder tape from Danielson’s shoulder and continued to boot Danielson in the face, but Danielson got back up before going for a forearm strike, but MJF evaded and smacked Danielson around in the head. MJF demanded Danielson give him his best shot, to which Danielson responded by hitting a slap before MJF connected a forearm strike on Danielson. Danielson & MJF got on the outside before Danielson slammed MJF onto the ring post and hit a running knee off the apron. Danielson climbed to the top rope and hit a Plancha on MJF to the outside. Back in the ring, the two got on the top rope before Danielson slammed MJF into the turnbuckle post before hitting a Spier Superplex on MJF. Danielson got to the top rope and hit a diving headbutt on MJF, busting MJF open from his forehead. MJF & Danielson got back up before Danielson hit another Running Knee and locking in the Regal Stretch on MJF, leading to MJF tapping out and earning another fall (MJF 3 – Bryan 3).
Danielson went for another Regal Stretch on MJF, but MJF rolled over and locked in the Fujiwara arm bar on Danielson, but Danielson rolled through and locked in the LaBelle Lock on MJF, causing MJF to roll into a pin before locking in the Fujiwara Arm Bar on Danielson before transitioning into an inverted Juji Gatame before locking in a double arm breaker on Danielson, but Danielson got to put his foot on the bottom rope to get the rope break. The two butted heads before they exchanged strikes with closed fists. The two exchanged headbutts before exchanging jabs and forearm strikes repeatedly and furiously, but the two collided with simultaneous forearm strikes. The Five Munte warning was announced, which led to the two firing away with strikes before exchanging chops. Danielson hit a roundhouse kick on MJF, but MJF responded with a forearm strike before Danielson hit a running forearm strike on MJF. MJF hit the Heat Seeker on Danielson again for a near fall before going outside and drinking water on the outside. MJF got himself & Danielson on the top rope before going for the Blackout, but Danielson hit the Andvil elbows on MJF, but MJF got Danielson and hit an Avalanche Tombstone on Danielson. MJF went for pain on Danielson, but Danielson rolled over and locked in a Single Leg Crab on MJF. Danielson cinched in on MJF’s leg, but the match ran down the clock to end the match in a draw.
Tony Schiavone revealed to the referee that because there was a draw, AEW Owner Tony Khan revealed that the match would end in Sudden Death, with the winner being determined in the final fall. Danielson got back up while MJF was distraught. Danielson got a roll-up on MJF, but MJF got a low blow while holding the referee for a near fall. MJF got the Title belt, but the referee told him that if he hit Danielson with the belt he would lose the title. MJF handed the belt to the referee, but MJF had the ring . Danielson evaded he ring and hit a Poison Rana on MJF before hitting the Running knee on MJF for a near fall. Danielson locked in the single-leg crab on MJF while the referee took away MJF’s ring. Danielson sat the hold deep, but MJF got a rope break as he tapped out while holding the rope. MJF got an oxygen tank and clobed Danieson with it while the referee was distracted, leading MJF to lock in the LaBelle Lock on Danielson to get another near fall. Danielson got on his knees, but MJF held on to the submission to make Danielson tap out to get the fourth & final fall and the submission win. MJF stood tall to end the broadcast.
