Spoiler: Multiple NJPW Stars Compete At ROH TV Tapings In Orlando, Florida On 2/25

A New Japan Pro-Wrestling title belt was defended on the first ROH TV tapings held at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida on February 25, 2023.

Zack Sabre Jr. defended his NJPW World TV Championship in Orlando, Florida as part of the first tapings of Ring of Honor television at Universal Studios. In one of the first matches taped as part of Ring of Honor’s new era, Sabre successfully defeated Blake Christian to retain his championship. 

In the past, Sabre had wrestled on AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2022. On that night, Sabre was the first opponent in AEW for the current Ring of Honor World Champion Claudio Castagnoli.

Also during the tapings on February 25, Aussie Open’s Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis defeated Tracy Williams and Rhett Titus, and LA Dojo star Clark Connors confronted Wheeler Yuta after Wheeler had defeated Timothy Thatcher in an ROH Pure Championship match.

In the months leading up to the Ring of Honor relaunch, spoke about the great relationship he has with different wrestling promotions and how that would play a factor in the growth of Ring of Honor going forward.
