Triple H Comments On Potential WWE Sale

Triple H wants nothing more than to continue creating magic with the WWE.

WWE is currently engaged with outside advisors to review strategic alternatives in relation to upcoming media rights negotiations. One strategic alternative is a potential sale of the company, which would happen before media rights deals for WWE Raw and WWE SmackDown are locked in. Nick Khan recently stated that a sale could happen quickly, possibly within the next three months.

Speaking during the post-Elimination Chamber press conference, Triple H was asked about the potential sale of WWE, stating that as long as he and the talent are allowed to continue doing what they do and put their passion on display, he will be happy.

“Depends on who is buying, I suppose. What the offer is, what the outcome is. Stay out of it, to me. That’s not a cop-out answer. I have the greatest gig in the world. I helped tonight, in some small way, create the magic we did here tonight. To me, it’s the best gig on the planet. As long we get to do this, as long as we get to create the way we get to create it, as long as we get to do our jobs and we get to go out there and put our passion on display, as long as our talent are allowed to put their passion on display and do what we do, I’m good. It is what it is,” he said.

Lucas Shaw of Bloomberg recently reported that Vince McMahon is looking to get as much as $9 billion in a potential sale of WWE. Click here to learn more.
