Jens Pulver To Be Inducted In To The UFC Hall Of Fame
The UFC’s first ever lightweight champion Jens Pulver is set to be inducted into the UFC’s Hall Of Fame.
Last night, during the broadcast of UFC 284, it was announced by Jon Anik, followed by a video package that Pulver will be inducted into the UFC Hall Of Fame. This news came as a surprise to Pulver who was doing a UFC live stream at the time reacting to last night’s event.
Below you can see both the video package and Pulver’s emotional reaction to the news that he would be joining some of the greatest fighters ever in the UFC Hall Of Fame.
A pioneer in the truest sense of the word.

Many fighters and MMA journalists were delighted to see Pulver finally get his flowers as he is among a long list of names who are not spoken about enough in modern day MMA as one of the pioneers of the sport.
Being the first ever UFC lightweight champion is not the only accolade Pulver achieved in his career. Pulver is also the youngest ever fighter to hold the lightweight title and is only one of two UFC lightweight champions to compete in both UFC and PRIDE.
Pulver also competed in a staggering four different weight classes throughout his 14 year long career.
Pulver retired just under 10 years ago with an MMA record of 27-19-1, he also competed in different combat sports several times such as professional boxing and kickboxing.
Pulver will officially join the UFC Hall Of Fame this summer during international fight week.
There have been two names confirmed for the Hall Of Fame so far, Pulver and UFC featherweight legend Jose Aldo.
