– In a promo, TNT Champion Samoa Joe commented on his title win. He called Darby Allin a worthy adversary, but he didn’t feel that way about Wardlow. Joe stated that he knows Wardlow has secrets, and he’s going to expose them.

– Ricky Starks took the fight to the Jericho Appreciation Society (Angelo Parker, Matt Menard, Daniel Garcia, and Sammy Guevara) in the Guevara-Garcia Gauntlet. With a win, he would have earned a match with Chris Jericho. In the closing moments, a “fan” attacked Starks and helped Garcia score the win. The mystery man revealed himself to be Jericho.

– MJF tried to cheat Bryan Danielson by locking him in a room ahead of his match with RUSH, but “The American Dragon” broke through the door and made it to the ring on time. Danielson was quickly blooded as he battled RUSH in a brutal, hard-hitting contest. As a result, Danielson officially earned a shot at the AEW World Championship. MJF attacked Danielson after the match.
