NXT Vengeance Day 2023 – North American Title – Wes Lee vs. Dijak Result
Wes Lee retains in a match the NXT North American Title at NXT Vengeance Day 2023.
Wes Lee defeated Dijak at NXT Vengeance Day to retain the North Amerian Title. Dijak was in control of the bout but attempted to go to high risk with a Moonsault to the floor late in the bout.
Dijak took too long, and by the time he jumped, Tony D’Angelo and Stacks had arrived on the scene and taken the blow for Wes. Dijak would try to catch Wes with a springboard maneuver but Lee caught Dijak with a Superkick and his Handspring Back Kick for the win.
Dijak had previously defeated Tony D’Angelo to earn his shot.

Following the bout, Dijak appeared to have a broken finger. Shawn Michaels would later reveal on the post-show media call that Dijak’s finger was not broken in the match.
