WWE SmackDown

LA Knight played mind games by dressing up like Bray Wyatt and doing his entrance. He started to discuss his Mountain Dew Pitch Black Match against Wyatt before the former Universal Champion interrupted and warned Knight that he’s going to meet the man he’s been looking for at WWE Royal Rumble. Uncle Howdy appeared in the distance, as he watched over the two rivals.

– Sami Zayn, despite being told to go home by Roman Reigns, went to SmackDown to thank Jey Uso for helping him on Monday. Adam Pearce told The Usos to go home, but Jey called in a favor with Zayn, as the Honorary Uce interfered in the main event match between Kevin Owens and Solo Sikoa. His efforts were fruitless, as Owens still ended the night standing tall

The Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar) attacked Sheamus and Drew McIntyre before their semifinal match in the SmackDown Tag Team Title Tournament. The former world champions gave up their spot in the match, and they were replaced by Braun Strowman and Ricochet. The unlikely pairing defeated Hit Row (Top Dolla & Ashante “Thee” Adonis) to advance to the finals.

Imperium (Giovanni Vinci & Ludwig Kaiser) defeated Legado del Fantasma (Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde) to advance to the finals of the SmackDown Tag Team Title Tournament.

– Karrion Kross overpowered Rey Mysterio for most of their match, but the living legend still emerged victorious

– Ausitn Theory, The Miz, and the New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) all made it clear that they plan to win the Royal Rumble. Bobby Lashley showed up and dished out a Spear. Brock Lesnar crashed the party, hit Lashley with the F5, and declared for the Royal Rumble.

Lacey Evans returned to the ring and defeated Jazmin Alllure.

– Bayley, Dakota Kai, IYO SKY, and Lacey Evans declared for the Women’s Royal Rumble. Meanwhile, The Miz and Brock Lesnar declared for the men’s match.

– Sonya Deville confronted SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlote Flair when she was being interviewed by Ryan Satin. Flair then demanded a title match with Deville next week, and the bout was confirmed.

– In a WWE Digital Exclusive, Imperium (Giovanni Vinci & Ludwig Kaiser) looked ahead to next week’s tournament finals and predicted that Strowman and Ricochet will fail.

– Zelina Vega picked her number for the Women’s Royal Rumble match.

– Kofi Kingston picked his number for the Men’s Royal Rumble match and was seemingly happy with the result.

AEW Rampage

– AEW Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter defeated Emi Sakura in a thrilling main event.

– Hangman Page used Jon Moxley’s Death Rider to defeat Wheeler Yuta in a hard-fought match.

– In a promo, Eddie Kingston said his true self is coming out now, and the House of Black has to accept that. He stated that he’s ready to go home.

– Jay Lethal, Jeff Jarrett, and Satnam Singh defeated the Best Friends (Trent Beretta & Chuck Taylor) and Danhausen, as Jarrett sneakily blasted Danhausen with the Golden Globe award, and Singh pinned the fan-favorite.

– Top Flight (Darius & Dante Martin) discussed their recent win over the Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson).  The duo challenged The Elite (Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks) to defend the AEW World Trios Championship against them and AR Fox.

– Ruby Soho got frustrated with Britt Baker after she distracted Toni Storm during their match on AEW Dynamite. Baker told Soho to pick a side as the battle lines are becoming clear.

– In an interview, Dustin Rhodes thanked the fans and noted that he’s been going through a hard time. He said he wanted to get back to work before Swerve Strickland and Mogul Affiliates interrupted. Swerve made it clear that he’s ready to take Rhodes down. Tensions between the two rose until officials separated them.

– In a taped promo. Ricky Starks and Action Andretti discussed their loss to Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara. Andretti expressed his confidence that he could beat Guevara, while Starks noted that he defeated Jericho once, and he can do it again.

– Powerhouse Hobbs dominated Tony Mudd and scored an emphatic win.

– Backstage, Jade Cargill was asked to name her next opponent. Red Velvet and Kiera Hogan interrupted. Velvet said Cargill has been treating everyone poorly and challenged her to a match.

– Emi Sakura commented on her loss to Hayter and called her out.

Sonjay Dutt told Paul Walter Hauser to kiss his ass as he, Lethal, and Jarrett discussed the group’s win.

– Excalibur expressed his excitement about the match between Hayter and Sakura.
