Play-by-Play
(#7) Sean Strickland vs. (#12) Nassourdine Imavov
Round One – Strickland opens the action with a right hook. Imavov responds with a 1-2 but Strickland fires back with a 1-2 combination of his own. Imavov cracks Strickland with a straight left hand but Strickland wallops Imavov with a right hook and Imavov is on wobbly legs. Strickland rushes in, Imavov latches onto Strickland for dear life and Strickland clinches Imavov agains the fence. The horn sounds and at the perfect time for Imavov, as the opening frame comes to a close.
Round Two – Imavov lands a low kick. Strickland clinches but Imavov shoves him back and lands a 1-2 on the break. Strickland dives in and lands a takedown and now has Imavov on his back. Imavov slides to his knees and stands up but Strickland remains attached and presses Imavov against the cage. Imavov breaks free and cracks Strickland with a 1-2 at the buzzer and round number two comes to a close.
Round Three – Strickland opens the action with a left hook. Imavov shoots for a takedown but Strickland holds firm and remains on his feet. Strickland pops the jab, then a 1-2, then another jab. Imavov lands a 1-2 of his own, Strickland continues to jab but not much else of consequence happens here as both fighters look to be OK with catching their respective breaths here in round number three.
Round Four – Strickland rips a hook to the body then a 1-2 back up top. Strickland jabs before landing yet another 1-2 and Imavov initiates the clinch and has Strickland agains the fence. Strickland shoves Imavov back and jabs as the horn sounds that’ll send this one to the fifth and final round.
Round Five – Imavov likely needs a miracle stoppage here in the final frame to sneak out of Vegas with his hand raised. Strickland clinches but Imavov knows he can’t waste any time this round and powers off the fence and circles back to the center of the octagon. Strickland lands a 1-2 then clinches before Imavov shoved him aside and land a 1-2, then lands a jab and a knee to the body. Imavov came on late but it’s probably too late as the horn sounds that’ll send this one to the judge’s scorecards.

(#13) Dan Ige vs. Dan Jackson
Round One – Ige cracks Jackson right off the bat and Jackson is hurt. Ige works the jab, then lands a left hook, then a 1-2. Jackson gets poked in the eye and after just a brief stoppage, the action is resumed. Ige lands a right hook, Jackson nails Ige with a 1-2 but Ige wallops Jackson with a left hook and dives in for a takedown and gets Jackson on his back but the horn sounds before he can get to work and the opening frame comes to a close.
Round Two – Ige drills Jackson with a right hook and now Jackson is leaking from his forehead. Ige lands a side kick to the body and a massive right hook knocks Jackson out cold! Walk off KO! What a shot by Dan Ige!

Punahele Soriano vs. Roman Kopylov
Round One – Soriano lands a 1-2 to start. Kopylov jabs and plants a kick on the lead leg of Soriano. Kopylov continues to pop the jab and cracks Soriano with a right hook before diving in and successfully landing a takedown. Soriano pops right back up to his feet but the horn sounds to end the opening frame.
Round Two – Soriano opens round number two with an uppercut. Kopylov lands a lightning quick spinning back kick to the body and continues to work the jab. A side kick to the body lands for Kopylov, who smells blood and charges in, ripping shots to both the head and body. Soriano shoots for a desperation takedown but to no avail. Kopylov folds Soriano with a hook to the body and this one is waved off! What a finish by Roman Kopylov!
Result: Roman Kopylov def. Punahele Soriano via TKO (strikes) (3:19, R2)
(#2) Ketlen Vieira vs. (#5) Raquel Pennington
Round One – Not much going on here early. Vieira jabs, Pennington returns fire with one of her own and plants a 1-2 on Vieira. Pennington with another 1-2, Vieira lands a kick to the lead leg followed by a left hook as the horn sounds to end the opening frame right as it was beginning to get going.
Round Two – Vieira goes back to the well with another leg kick. Pennington clinches and shoves Vieira against the fence but the Brazilian contender slides out of danger. Pennington lands a right hook, then a left hook shortly behind. Pennington cracks Vieira with an overhand right but accidentally nails Vieira with a low blow and the action is briefly paused. Vieira gives the OK and the fight is resumed. Pennington clinches again and lands a knee on the inside and the buzzer sounds to end round number two.
Round Three – Vieira cracks Pennington with a 1-2 to start the third and final round. Vieira clocks Pennington with a big overhand right and Vieira clinches the former title challenger. Pennington fights her way off the fence and nails Vieira with a 1-2 then clinches once more. Vieira reverses position and ends up with control against the cage. Vieira lands an elbow on the inside and the horn sounds to send this one to the judge’s scorecards.
Result: (#5) Raquel Pennington def. (#2) Ketlen Vieira via split-decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28)
(#11) Umar Nurmagomedov vs. Raoni Barcelos
Round One – Nurmagomedov opens with a low kick. Nurmagomedov lands another kick to Barcelos’ lead leg and the Brazilian returns fire with one of his own. Nurmagomedov drills Barcelos with a left hook, just misses a knee but cracks Barcelos with a 1-2 and Barcelos is out! What a performance by Umar Nurmagomedov!
Result: (#11) Umar Nurmagomedov def. Raoni Barcelos via KO (punch) (4:41, R1)
