Two Matches Added To WWE Backlash
Five days before WWE Backlash, two more matches have been added.
Former NXT Champion Sami Zayn was granted his request to face Baron Corbin at Sunday's event in Chicago. The two have been locked in a rivalry since both came up short against AJ Styles in a top contender's match for the United States Championship five weeks ago.
In that time, Baron Corbin attacked Zayn on the set of Talking Smack, which earned him a one week suspension from WWE Smackdown Live commissioner Shane McMahon. Corbin would also attack Zayn on this week's Smackdown.
Later, on Talking Smack, Commissioner Shane McMahon made another match, pitting former Wyatt Family brothers Luke Harper and Erick Rowan against each other.
The Kickoff Match was announced earlier today, and will be Tye Dillinger vs Aiden English.
WWE Backlash takes place Sunday from the Allstate Arena in Chicago. Fightful will have full coverage of the event, as well as a post-show podcast.
