– Kiana James faced Fallon Henley in the Battle for the Bar Match. In the closing moments, a botched distraction from Brooks Jensen cost James the match, and Henley capitalized, so her family held onto their bar.

– Ahead of his match against Wes Lee, Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo assured Tony D’Angelo that Dijak wouldn’t be a problem. In the main event, Lee defended the NXT North American Championship against D’Angelo. Both men threw everything they had at each other, and in the closing moments, Lee capitalized on a timely distraction. Dijak came to ringside and attacked Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo. In doing so, he distracted D’Angelo, and Lee proceeded to pin him for the win.

– Wendy Choo took on Cora Jade in a heated grudge match. Choo brought the fight to Jade and ultimately defeated her.

– Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne discussed their successful year in 2022. They commented on their recent setbacks and made it clear that they will persevere. The duo also noted that they want to take down NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez.
– JD McDonagh battled Julius Creed, and the two foes battled it out in a competitive match. McDonagh targeted Julius’ arm, but the Diamond Mine member continued to persevere. In the end, Julius scored the with a lariat. After the bell, Veer Mahaan and Sanga came to the ring and challenged The Creed Brothers to a match at NXT New Year’s Evil.

– Ikemen Jiro faced Scrypts, who flipped into the ring and played mind games with Jiro by wearing his jacket. Scrypts then picked up the win.

– Drew Gulak hosted the Drew Gulak Invitational. He showed Hank Walker some holds by locking them in on some students, including Myles Borne and Tavion Heights. Charlie Dempsey interrupted and challenged Gulak to step up to a real wrestler. He vowed to make an example out of Walker next week.

– Grayson Waller discussed his return to Australia ahead of his title match against NXT Champion Bron Breakker and vowed to beat the champion. Breakker responded by throwing a TV.
– In a vignette, Oro Mensah talked about partying.
– Alba Fyre stated that the light of her ancestors burns brighter than Isla Dawn’s darkness and challenged her to a match.
– Lyra Valkyria defeated Lash Legend.

– Schism (Joe Gacy, Jagger Reid & Rip Fowler) faced Odyssey Jones, Malik Blade, and Edris Enofe. During the match, Ava Raine shook Booker T up with a chilling message when she approached him at the commentary table. Schism won the bout and gained more momentum.

– Trick Williams vowed to send Axiom to Comic-Con by beating him next week. Likewise, Carmelo Hayes expressed his confidence ahead of his match against Apollo Crews.
