Afa Anoa’i Jr: I Look At Roman Reigns As Head Of The Table In WWE, I’m The Other Head Of The Table

Afa Anoa’i Jr is part of the famous Anoa’i family, which includes The Bloodline foursome of Roman Reigns, The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso), and Solo Sikoa.

Afa Jr was previously in WWE from 2006 and 2009 and was a member of The Legacy alongside Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes. Afa Jr remains active on the independent scene.

Speaking to Tantalizing Tony, Afa Jr discussed the legacy of the Anoa’i family.

“I don’t necessarily look at it as I have to live up to the legacy of the family name, I look at it as, I have to create my own road on this legacy. We all have our strengths and weaknesses. Roman, he’s made it to the top of the game in WWE, I’ve made it to the top of the game without them. I’ve stayed relevant for the last 25 years without them. I’m about to be, and I’m saying this prophetically, I’m about to be an award-winning Broadway choreographer. That doesn’t happen if I’m in WWE. I’m not able to do all the side projects, I’m not able to run Battlefield, I’m not able to wrestle in the ECW Arena if I’m in WWE. I’m not saying I never want to go back, I’m just showing the world that we run WWE, we also run wrestling outside of WWE. If you want to look at Roman as the head of the table there,  you wanna look at me as the other head, that’s the way I look at it,” he said.

Afa Jr competed at BCW Tribute To The Extreme, teaming with Beastman to defeat The FBI (Little Guido & Luigi Primo).
