Diamond Dallas Page Has Been Approached About Making ‘The Resurrection Of Jake The Snake’ A Movie
Diamond Dallas Page is working on a Jake Roberts movie.
Diamond Dallas Page and Jake Roberts are intrinsically tied together due to the positive impact DDP has had on the betterment of Roberts in recent years. In 2014, a documentary was made chronicling Jake’s recovery alongside DDP and now, DDP says he has been approached about turning that recovery into a movie.
During a recent interview with Tyler Treese for ComingSoon.net, Diamond Dallas Page revealed he’s working on a scripted version of Jake’s story.
“If anybody has ever seen The Resurrection of Jake the Snake, in 2014, we released that. That’s a documentary that’s [got] a lot of power to it. Recently, I’ve been approached about making that a movie — a scripted movie that’ll end up on a big screen, and they love the story. So that’s something I’m super excited about,” says DDP.
WWE inducted Jake Roberts into the Hall of Fame in 2014 and DDP in 2017. Jake Roberts currently works for AEW, recently returning backstage at AEW after longstanding health battles.
