Featherweight Clash Set For UFC 214
A featherweight division attraction is the latest addition to the UFC 214 card as #13 Doo Ho Choi takes on Andre Fili.
Choi (14-2-0) has won three of four fights under the UFC banner, with those three victories coming over Juan Manuel Puig, Sam Sicilia and Thiago Tavares. Choi has only suffered a single defeat under the UFC banner and that defeat came to Cub Swanson by decision at UFC 206. The aforementioned loss to Swanson was the first defeat that Choi has suffered in just over six years’ time.
Fili (16-4-0) has rotated wins and losses throughout his UFC run, with his last fight being a victory over Hacran Dias at UFC Fight Night 96. Fili has a record of 2-2-0 on UFC pay-per-view card’s, defeating Jeremy Larsen at UFC 166 and Felipe Arantes at UFC 179, while suffering defeats to Max Holloway at UFC 172 and Yair Rodriguez at UFC 197. Fili also fight twice in the Tachi Palace Fights promotion, defeating the duo of Enoch Wilson and Ricky Wallace.
