WWE SmackDown

– Bray Wyatt came to the ring, hoping to make amends with LA Knight. But despite Wyatt’s seemingly good intentions, Knight slapped him in the face twice.

– Backstage, the New Day (Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston) discussed their loss to The Usos. Woods stated that they weren’t in the best mood. Imperium (Gunther, Ludwig Kaiser, and Giovanni Vinci) interrupted, and Ludwig Kaiser stated that Kingston and Woods are what’s wrong with wrestling. Kingston and Woods cracked jokes about Imperium and challenged them to a six-man tag team match. The duo ultimately joined forces with Braun Strowman. At the end of a competitive match, Woods scored the pinfall victory.

– After the bout, Strowman stated that he’s looking forward to facing Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship after he wins the SmackDown World Cup. Ricochet told him that he’s looking too far ahead, as they’ll face off in the semifinals next week. He also referenced Strowman’s “flippy-floppers” tweet.

– Before Madcap Moss’ match against Karrion Kross, Emma gave him a pep talk and wished him well. During the match, Moss held his own with Kross, but some interference from Scarlett tipped the momentum in the former NXT Champion’s favor. Kross scored the win with the Kross-Jacket and kept the hold locked in after the bell. Emma then came to the ring to check on Moss.

– Sheamus, Drew McIntyre, Ridge Holland, and Butch came to the ring, fresh off the news that they would face The Bloodline (Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, Sami Zayn, and The Usos). Sheamus and McIntyre made it clear that they’re back on the same page, and they’re ready to go to war. Sami Zayn came to the stage and guaranteed that The Bloodline will emerge victorious, though Sheamus teased that his team’s mysterious fifth member will make an impact.

– The Bloodline asked Kross if he was a member of Team Brawling Brutes at WWE Survivor Series. He told them that he wasn’t, but he warned Roman Reigns’ stablemates that he’d be coming for “The Tribal Chief” someday.

Ricochet defeated Mustafa Ali to advance to the next round of the SmackDown World Cup. Ali was dealing with injured ribs, but he still delivered an impressive performance in the hard-fought match. In the end, Ricochet scored the win.

– Jey Uso got frustrated with Sami Zayn for guaranteeing a victory for The Bloodline in the WarGames Match. Zayn argued with him, and Jimmy told them to get on the same page before Roman Reigns arrived.

– In the main event, Sami Zayn battled Butch in a SmackDown World Cup Match. Their opposing groups brawled at ringside during the bout. In the end, Butch pinned Zayn for the win.

– After the bell, the two teams brawled. Roman Reigns came to the ring and laid out several of McIntyre’s teammates. He then dropped McIntyre with a Spear. The fight continued, and Kevin Owens came to the ring, seemingly joining forces with McIntyre’s team in the process. He dropped Reigns with a Stunner and ended the night standing tall.

– Hoping to gain more momentum ahead of her match against Ronda Rousey WWE Survivor Series, Shotzi faced Shayna Baszler. Rousey accompanied Baszler to the ring and made her presence known by distracting Shotzi early on. Shotzi gained the upper hand, but Rousey interfered again. Raquel Rodriguez came to ringside to level the playing field, and Shotzi rolled Baszler up for the win.

– Backstage, LA Knight made a hasty exit, and a masked man was waiting for him in the darkness outside. Officials subsequently found him in the aftermath of an apparent attack.
