Welterweight Clash Added To UFC Fight Night 111
A welterweight division clash is the latest addition to the UFC Fight Night 111 card as Li Jingliang is in action against Jonathan Meunier.
Jingliang (12-4-0) has won four of six fights under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over David Michaud, Dhiego Lima, Anton Zafir and Bobby Nash. Jingliang has a record of 1-2-0 at “Fight Night” events and his only two defeats in the UFC came at those “Fight Night” events. Jingliang is also a veteran of the Legends FC promotion, winning five of seven fights in that company.
Meunier (8-1-0) has won just one of two fights in UFC competition, defeating Richard Walsh and suffering a defeat to Colby Covington. Meunier has only seen just one of his nine professional MMA fights go the distance and that bout came at UFC Fight Night 101. Meunier also fought three times in the Quebec MMA League before coming to the UFC, having won all three of those fights in the promotion.
UFC Fight Night 111 takes place on Saturday, June 17 from the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore with Bethe Correia and Holly Holm headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on UFC Fight Pass.
