Here is your fight size update for WWE Friday Night SmackDown and AEW Rampage on Friday, November 4, 2022.

WWE SmackDown

– In a promo backstage, Bray Wyatt said he usually doesn’t like to share his feelings, and it upsets him when people interrupts him. A member of the crew interrupted him, and Wyatt confronted him, comparing the situation to getting cut off in traffic. He said he can’t stand the way he’s been thinking about things, and he hates himself. Wyatt said he can’t handle himself, and he told the individual to apologize to him. After he said he’s sorry, Wyatt told him to go away.

– Ronda Rousey accompanied Shayna Baszler to the ring for her match against Natalya. The former NXT Women’s Champion showed the viciousness she’s known for, and she choked out Natalya to pick up a dominant win. Baszler then blasted Natalya with a knee to the face after the bell.

– In the main event, Gunther defended the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Rey Mysterio. In a hard-fought bout, the two competitors threw everything they had at each other. The action garnered “This is awesome” chants from the crowd. In the end, Gunther pinned Mysterio to retain the gold.

– Liv Morgan battled Sonya Deville in a No Disqualification Match. The competitors capitalized on the stipulation, as Deville brought a kendo stick into play early on. Morgan turned it around and broke the weapon by hitting Deville with it. The former champion sent herself and Deville crashing through a table by countering a German suplex and proceeded to laugh about it. Deville fired back by powerbombing Morgan onto some chairs. Morgan ultimately won the match by hitting Oblivion and pinning Deville.

– Ricochet took on LA Knight in a singles match. In a pre-match promo, Ricochet noted that Knight might not talk so much once he kicked out some of his teeth. Knight cut a promo on his way to the ring and called out the ring announcer for getting his hometown wrong a few weeks ago. Ricochet brought the fight to Knight to begin the match. Knight gained the upper hand, but Ricochet rallied. The self-proclaimed megastar took control and grounded the former WWE Intercontinental Champion.

– One week after her return, Emma shared her thoughts in an interview. She said her heart was pounding out of her chest, but she had something to prove. Xia Li interrupted her and stated that Emma proved she is weak. Emma responded by dropping Li with a punch.

– A clip of IMPAULSIVE played, and Logan Paul briefly discussed his match with Roman Reigns at WWE Crown Jewel. A video package also hyped up the match.

– In a vignette, the Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar) performed a ritual with their mysterious ally, who painted their faces.

– Backstage, Sami Zayn hyped up The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) ahead of WWE Crown Jewel. Jey Uso got frustrated and said the Usos should go to the ring ahead of their match, but Zayn noted that they’re finally making progress. He encouraged him not to simply wait until their match on Saturday, but Jey brushed him off and stated that the matter was an Uso thing, not a Bloodline thing. The Usos came to the ring and vowed to become the longest-reigning tag team champions ever. The New Day confronted the duo and said they’ll be waiting to challenge for the titles after WWE Crown Jewel. he Brawling Brutes (Ridge Holland & Butch) attacked The Usos from behind. Sami Zayn and Solo Sikoa made the save, and The Bloodline stood tall.

– A video package hyped up the Steel Cage Match between Karrion Kross and Drew McIntyre at WWE Crown Jewel.

– MVP came to the ring before Braun Strowman’s match. He discussed Strowman’s looming clash at WWE Crown Jewel. MVP stated that he got five opponents for Strowman on Friday. Strowman charged to the ring and plowed over his opponents. He chased MVP out of the ring and slammed him into the barricade. Strowman then slammed MVP in the ring and floored him with another powerslam.

– In a promo, Santos Escobar stated that he will make an example out of Shinsuke Nakamura next week. Zelina Vega said that everyone in WWE will see why Legado del Fantasma cannot be stopped.

– In a WWE Digital Exclusive, Shayna Baszler was asked to comment on why she attacked Natalya. She stated that everyone has forgotten what she’s capable of, so she reminded everyone what she’s about.

– Gunther discussed his victory in a WWE Digital Exclusive and stated that he always gives it his all to defend the title. He made it clear that he’s driven by his passion, and that’s why he’s still the champion.

– In a WWE Digital Exclusive, Liv Morgan discussed her win and stated that she has never felt better.

AEW Rampage

– Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter faced Madison Rayne and Skye Blue in a tag team match. Hayter scored the pn over Rayne to gain more momentum ahead of AEW Full Gear. After the match, Hayter attacked Rayne and Blue. Toni Storm came to the ring and took Baker out. She then brawled with Hayter. Storm made Hayter tap out to the Texas Cloverleaf, but Baker hit the champion with her title. Hayter then stood tall with the title.

– Mike Tyson joined the commentary for the opening match, in which Orange Cassidy defended the AEW All-Atlanic Championship against Katsuyori Shibata. The challenger pushed Cassidy to the limit, but the champion clinched the win with an Orange Punch. The two competitors shook hands after the match.

– AEW Interim Women’s World Champion Toni Storm discussed her upcoming title match against Jamie Hayter at AEW Full Gear. She stated that Britt Baker has been manipulating Hayter, and she vowed to emerge victorious at the pay-per-view.

– In the main event, WardJoe (Wardlow and Samoa Joe) defeated the Gates of Agony (Toa Liona & Bishop Kaun), as the TNT Champion scored the pinfall victory. Powerhouse Hobbs confronted Wardlow after the match, and the latter shoved Joe out of his way so he could stare his foe down.

– Ricky Starks came to the ring and stated that he knows people want to see him on TV more. He entered himself into the AEW World Championship Eliminator Tournament. Starks stated that he’ll win the tournament and go on to face either Jon Moxley or MJF. The broadcast team then confirmed the full bracket.

– Backstage, Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli were asked about their issues with Chris Jericho. Castagnoli said that he draws the line when Jericho attacks non-wrestlers like Ian Riccaboni. He made it clear that he wants a rematch against Jericho. Likewise, Bryan Danielson emphasized that he wants another shot at the ROH World Championship. William Regal told Jericho to make his choice.

– In an interview, Chris Jericho was asked to respond to William Regal. Jericho stated that he could choose both opponents, but he noted that he doesn’t think the Blackpool Combat Club likes each other. He pitched the idea of a four-way bout, with Sammy Guevara being in the match to even the odds.

– Backstage, Sammy Guevara challenged Bryan Danielson to a Best Two out of Three Falls Match on AEW Dynamite.

– In a tweet, Athena expressed her excitement about meeting Mike Tyson.

– Likewise, Katsuyori Shibata tweeted a picture of himself and Mike Tyson.
