Brady Booker, the former Bodhi Hayward in WWE, reflects on his run as a part of Chase U.

Hayward debuted on WWE TV as a member of the group in January 2022. Alongside Andre Chase, he was featured on NXT TV and NXT Level Up. Thea Hail later joined the “school”, and it continued to evolve. Booker’s time as a student came to an abrupt conclusion when he, along with multiple other NXT Superstars, was released on November 1.

In an interview with PWMania.com’s Scott Mitchell, Booker was asked to share his thoughts on working with his Chase U stablemates. He described how he loved entertaining the crowd to the best of his ability, and he knew he’d be a good fit for the group. Booker sated that they had a real bond, and he enjoyed working with everyone involved.

“When I got in there the first day I was just getting to work. I was always used to being the underdog. I’m used to adversity and being the guy counted out. That’s where I thrive the best. I saw Chase and I was telling him how I just got out of college, and I have all this energy and can be whatever rah-rah guy that they need. My dad was a Hall of Fame coach growing up. I’m always around a team atmosphere. I always loved the crowd and entertaining them to the best of my ability. I knew I could be the perfect fit, and they loved it and it took off from there. It was a real bond. I would do anything for that man. He gave me my start and he taught me a lot. Thea is an incredibly talented young girl as well. So full of joy and excitement. It’s a blast to work with people who really care about their job. I wish a camera followed us around at all times. We didn’t need a script; it was so good,” Booker said.

In the same interview, Booker discussed his WWE release. See what he had to say by clicking here.

In response to Booker’s release, Andre Chase thanked him for being Chase U’s first scholarship athlete. Check out his comments here.
