– Vic Joseph and Two-Time WWE Hall of Famer Booker T welcomed the audience to the broadcast before quickly transitioning to the opening match.

Rhea Ripley (w/ Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor & Damian Priest) vs. Roxanne Perez.

In Ripley’s first match back in months, Perez & Ripley began the match locking up before Ripley launched Perez out of the ring as the crowd chanted “Rhea’s gonna kill you”. Perez got a wrist lock on Ripley before kicking Ripley’s tight. Perez went for a tilt-to-world roll-up but Ripley caught Perez’s hand. Perez slapped Perez twice before Ripley slammed Perez’s face into her knee and hit a vicious lariat on Perez. Ripley tossed Ripley into the ropes before hitting a forearm strike. on Perez. Perez hit two forearm strikes before Ripley hit a knee to the abdomen on Perez. Perez hit a Hurricanrana on Ripley to send her outside. Perez went for a Tope Suicida, but Ripley walked it off. Perez went for a hurricanrana on Ripley off the apron, but Ripley slammed Perez’s face onto the apron before the picture-in-picture break. Back in the ring, Ripley laid in the strikes on Perez. Ripley attempted a standing suplex on Perez, but Perez turned it into a small package pin for a near fall. Ripley quickly responded to this by hitting a dropkick on Perez for a near fall. Ripley got Perez in a sit-down abdominal stretch, but Perez broke the hold by punching Ripley in the head. Perez went for the til-to-world Tijeras on Ripley, but Ripley slammed Perez’s face to the mat for a near fall. Ripley got Perez in a body scissors hold before she started laying in the forearm strikes on the back of Perez’s head. Ripley went for a curb stomp, but Perez tripped Ripley into the bottom rope. Perez hit two uppercuts on Ripley before hitting the Tilt-to-world Tijeras and attempted a Russian Leg Sweep, but Ripley caught her. Perez hit a headbutt and a corner uppercut before she evaded Ripley’s attempt at a corner spear to send her to the outside. Perez hit a Tope Suicida/ Thesz Press combo on Ripley before sending her back to the ring. Ripley caught Perez on the top turnbuckle before climbing to the top. Ripley attempted a superplex, but Perez wiggled her way off the move before hitting an Avalanche Frankensteiner on Ripley for a near fall. Perez fired away the forearm strikes before hitting a shotgun dropkick. Ripley caught Perez off the uppercut and hit a face-buster on Perez for a near fall. Perez kicked Ripley in the abdomen and went for Pop Rox, but Dominik distracted Perez long enough to allow Ripley to hit the Riptide on Perez for the pinfall win. 

Winner: Rhea Ripley (w/ Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor & Damian Priest).

– The OC and Cameron Grimes talked backstage ahead of their match later in the night, with Luke Gallows calling themselves the sexiest team in the business. Grimes flaunted a stack of cash, which seemed to turn Gallows on for some reason.

– Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo & Tony D’Angelo made their way to the ring ahead of Stacks’ match against a mystery opponent of D’Angelo’s choosing. D’Angelo said that he would reveal Stacks’ opponent after the commercial break. 

– Back from the commercial break, Grayson Waller was interviewed backstage by McKenzie Mitchell. Waller said that he already beat Apollo Crews and that he would beat him again and end the hallucinations, but was abruptly interrupted by, of all peeps, Chucky. Chucky said that his match against Crews would be a Spin The Weel Make The Deal Match at Halloween Havoc. 

– Tony D’angelo’s pick was revealed none other than two-time NXT Champion & former Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura. 

Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo (w/ Tony D’Angelo) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura. 

Lorenzo began the match by kicking Nakamura before getting him in a headlock. Nakamura hit a knee strike to the abdomen and an Ax kick on Lorenzo before laying his boot on Lorenzo and hitting a knee-drop on Lorenzo for a near fall. Nakamura hit a face-buster on Lorenzo before hitting knee strikes on Lorenzo’s abdomen and back. Nakamura started laying in the kicks on Stacks, but Stacks laid in the elbow strikes on Nakamura’s knee before hitting a snap-mare on Nakamura for a near fall. Stacks went for a suplex, but Nakamura stood up and hit a leaping kick on Stacks. Nakamura hit two body kicks and an enziguri kick on Stacks before connecting the sliding German Suplex on Lorenzo for a near fall. Nakamura got Lorenzo in a sleeper hold but Stacks broke the hold and laid in the punches on Lorenzo, but Nakamura caught his punch and turned it into an arm bar on Stacks. Stacks broke the hold and hit a vicious uppercut on Nakamura. Nakamura hit a side heel kick on Stacks before connecting a vicious knee strike on Lorenzo. Nakamura stared at D’Angelo before bringing Stacks back on the ring. Stacks stood up and demanded Nakamura to hit him, to which Nakamura responded by hitting a vicious, disgusting, and nasty Kinshasa on Lorenzo for the pinfall win. D’Angelo told Stacks that he was proud of him after his efforts in the match.

Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura.

– Axiom & Nathan Frazier discussed their three-match series before being confronted by Von Wagner and Mr. Stone. Wagner said that those two and the rest of the participants would not stop him from becoming NXT North American Champion before calling Frazier a soccer boy. Frazier said that he was going to boot Wagner before Axiom pulled him away. 

Alba Fyre vs. Sonya Deville (w/ Jacy Jayne & Gigi Dolin).

Deville leaned Fyre into the corner before Fyre & Deville started pushing each other. Fyre hit a headbutt on Devill before hitting overhead chop and an Irish Whip forearm strike on Fyre. Fyre claimed to the middle rope, but Deville slammed Fyre onto the top turnbuckle before hitting a pump kick on Fyre for a near fall. Fyre hit a lariat, overhead chops, and a release facebuster on Deville before hitting a wicked kick to the chest of Deville. Dolin & Jayne distracted Fyre, but Deville accidentally hit a pump kick on Jayne. This allowed Fyre to get Deville in a schoolboy roll-up for the pinfall win. 

Winner: Alba Fyre.

Fyre was attacked by Toxic Attraction & Deville after the match before NXT Women’s Champion made her return to NXT. Fyre laid out all three before confronting Rose with her bat afterward.

– Wes Lee & Oro Mensah were attacked backstage by Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams ahead of their match.

Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams vs. Wes Lee & Oro Mensah.

AFter the break, Lee had Williams in a headlock in the ring as the match began during the break. Williams hit a pop-up jab on Lee. Mensah hti a springboard shotgun dropkick, the Tijeras, and hit a scissor kick on Hayes. Williams hit a diving lariat on Mensah before laying the punches on Williams. Mensah hit a forward heel kick on Williams before Lee tagged in. Lee hit three forearm strikes before laying in the body shots and hitting an enziguri kick/ bulldog combo on Hayes. Williams pushed Lee off the top rope, but this lead to Mensah attacking Wiliams on the outside. Hayes hit a code breaker followed by a Top Rope Leg drop on Lee for the pinfall win. 

– After the match, Lee & Mensah clotheslined Williams out of the ring before Hayes hit a Tope Con Giro on Mensah & Lee. Wagner hit a big boot on Hayes but was greeted by Frazier with a top-rope crossbody to the outside. 

– Joe Gacy & The Dyad cut a promo backstage ahead of their match against Cameron Grimes & The OC, saying that he was a hypocrite for denying the Schism’s offer, saying that they would tear him down. 

– NXT Champion Bron Breakker was interviewed backstage by McKenzie Mitchell, saying that he would spear Ilja Dragunov’s ass again if needed. Breakker said that he is an admirer of Kevin Owens’ KO Show and that he looked forward to the segment.

Cameron Grimes & The OC (Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson) vs. The Schism (Joe Gacy, Jagger Reid & Rip Fowler).

Grimes and Reid began the match locking up before Grimes hit a drop toe-hold into a headlock on Reid. Grimes hit a knee strike and a sliding kick on Reid. Grimes laid in the strikes on Fowler in the corner after he tagged in. Reid & Fowler clashed before Grimes hit a double hurricanrana on Fowler & Reid. The Machine Gun Karl Anderson tagged in and fired with the chops on Fowler before hitting him with a back elbow strike for a near fall. Gallows tagged in and laid in the punches on Fowler’s abdomen before hitting a ripcord lariat and three elbow drops on Fowler for a near fall. Anderson tagged back in as the crowd chanted “Machine Gun”, but Fowler caught him with a knee strike from behind to send him out of the ring. Reid laid in the punches on Anderson. Fowler & Reid hit an assisted back-breaker on Anderson to the outside before The Schism hugged it out on the outside. Reid stomped Anderson before hitting forearm strikes on Anderson. Anderson started firing away at Reid before hitting an uppercut on Reid and tagging in Grimes. Grimes hit a high cross body on Reid for a near fall. Gallows, Anderson & Grimes tossed The Schism to the outside before the break. Grimes & The OC attacked The Schism on the outside. Back in the ring, Gacy & The Dyad hit an assisted Powerbomb on Grimes. Reid choked Grimes with the middle rope before Fowler tagged in. Fowler laid in the strikes on Grimes before locking in a Cravat on Grimes. Fowler broke the hold and stomped Grimes on the chest before Gacy tagged in. Gacy stomped down Grimes in rage, but Grimes responded with a running cross-body on Gacy for a near fall. Gacy hit an elbow drop on Grimes. Gacy hti a corner lariat on Grimes and went for a Uranage, but Grimes countered into a Arm drag on Gacy. Grimes slid onter Fowler before Gallows tagged in.Gallows hti a lariat on Fowler, a high kick on Reid, an uppercut & a diving lariat on Fowler before hitting a double-chokeslam on Fowler. Grimes hti a back kick on Folwer, but Gacy hit a back-breaker. Anderson caught Gacy with the Gun Stun. Reid hit an enziguri kick on Anderson, but Grimes caught Fowler with a Cave-In before hitting fast-paced PK Kick on Gacy on the apron. Anderson hit a wicked Spinebuster on Reid before he and Gallows hit a Magic Killer on Reid for the pinfall win.

Winners: Cameron Grimes & The OC (Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson).

– Veer Mahan was interviewed backstage by McKenzie Mitchell before Sanga confronted him backstage. Sanga told him that he was ready to listen before the two walked off the interview.

– NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Kayden Carter & Katana Chance were backstage with Zoey Stark and Nikkita Lyons to sign their contract ahead of their match for the titles. 

– Vic Joseph did a web-conference interview with Damon Kemp & Julius Creed ahead of their Ambulance Match at Halloween Havoc. Creed called Kemp a clown, to which Kemp responded by calling him a loser and jealous of him. Creed called Kemp a clout-chaser for not doing the work to strive, but Kemp responded that this was not going to be an MMA Fight or an Amateur Wrestling Fight before saying that he was not the best athlete in his family (for reference, he is the brother of Olympic Gold Medalist Gable Stevenson). Creed said that he would slam the Ambulance door on Kemp for their match.

– Alicia Taylor welcomed the host of NXT Halloween Havoc, which was revealed to be the 2020 Host of the show Shotzi. Making her return to NXT, Shotzi said that she would make Halloween Havoc more balls to the wall, saying that she & Raquel Rodriguez would take the WWE Women’s Tag Titles off Damage CTRL. Shotzi emphasized that she would make Halloween Havoc the most extravagant night of the year. Xyon Quinn interrupted Shotzi to offer himself as the co-host, but Quincy Elliott interrupted Quinn and offered himself as the cohost. Shotzi revealed that the winner of their pre-scheduled match would be Shotzi’s cohost. Quincy hit lariat to send Quinn to the outside before backing it up on Shotzi.

Winner Becomes Halloween Havoc Co-Host.

Xyon Quinn vs. Quincy Elliott.

Quinn went for a Fireman’s Carry but instead went for a RUNNING lariat on Quinn for a near fall. Quinn got Elliott in a headlock, but Elliott broke the hold before laying the strikes, hitting two shoulder tackles, and hitting a running uppercut on Quinn. Quinn got in the corner and hit a corner boot on a running Elliott. Quinn got Elliott in a Fireman’s Carry, but Elliott reversed it with a splash onto Quinn’s back. Elliott went for a splash but Quinn evaded. Quinn went outside to get a weapon, but Hank Walker stopped him. Quinn got back in the ring but was caught with a Standing Splash from Elliott. Elliott hit the Diva Drop on Quinn for the pinfall win. Elliott & Shotzi danced after the match.

Winner: Quincy Elliott.

– Thea Hail vented after losing against Kiana James on the previous week. Andre Chase recalled the history of Halloween Havoc, including the introduction of The Yetay. Chucky interrupted the lesson before cursing out Bohdi Hayward. Hail said this after the segment: “WHAT THE FUCK?!”.

– NXT Tag Team Champions Eton Prince & Kit Wilson were backstage with Malik Blade & Edris Enofe to sign their contract for their match for the NXT Tag Team Championships. They will face each other on the 10/25/2022 edition of NXT.

Pick Your Poison Match.

Raquel Rodriguez vs. Cora Jade. 

Jade laid down on the top turnbuckle to start the match. Jade & Raquel argued before Raquel hit a vicious boot on Jade followed by two Irish Whips and a face slam onto the top turnbuckle. Rquel leaned Jade on the broadcast table before hitting a wicked chop on Jade. Jade went back in the ring, but Raquel pulled her out of the ring and went for a second chop, but Jade evaded. Back in the ring, Jade laid in the strikes and hit a springboard double-stomp on Jade. Raquel hit a wicked lariat on Jade. Jade got a Bat in the ring, but Raquel caught the bat. Raquel viciously attacked Jade with the stick, gifting Jade the disqualification win.

Winner: Cora Jade (via Disqualification).

– Perez attacked Jade after the match, hitting her with a Superkick. Jade sprinted out of the ring as Raquel hoisted Perez on her shoulders.

– Josh Briggs, Brooks Jensen, Fallon Henley, Indi Hartwell, Sol Ruca, Ikeman Jiro, Indi Hartwell, and more NXT Roster Members were drinking in the workplace while watching NXT backstage.

– Kevin Owens hosted a special edition of The KO Show with JD McDonagh, Ilja Dragunov & NXT Champion Bron Breakker. Owens said called McDonagh a creepy weirdo and nicknamed him “JD MC-Don’t Google Me”. JD responded that Owens could call him anything he wants but he would have to call him NXT Champion. Ilja admitted that he aim at JD, but hitting Breakker by accident was not a mistake. Dragunov said that after hitting Breakker with the Torpedo, he noticed that he was human. Dragunov told Breakker that he would feel that bullet again and regain the title that should have been his in the first place. Breakker told that Dragunov that he would get the title over his dead title. Breakker said that if he wanted a friend to get a dog because he would remain champion as long as he is breathing. Owens pointed out JD McDOnagh’s plan and told them that nobody wants McDonagh as NXT Champion, including his mother. McDonagh told Owens that he does need anyone’s approval, he only needs one opportunity to win the title and that he would do anything to make sure Ilja would never become champion again. Ilja said that McDonagh sucked the life out of everything, but stated that he would always be a contender but never (EVER) be a champion. Breakker told Dragunov that he would put him as a contender too, but Dragunov demanded to try. Owens calmly walked out of the ring before Breakker & Dragunov fired punched away. Dragunov hit a Torpedo on Breakker before hitting a headbutt on McDonagh.

Dragunov stood tall with the belt until, from out of nowhere, Austin Theory made his return to NXT. Theory lifted his Money In The Bank briefcase high as Dragunov held the NXT Title to end the broadcast.
