Joey Janela says his arm started squirting blood like a super soaker during his match at the Zona 23 vs. GCW event in Mexico on October 16.

Janela faced Pagano at the show. Roy Lucier tweeted that Janela’s arm/elbow was bleeding badly during the match, and he suffered “insane blood loss.” He also wrote that Janela got stitched up by officials in the back.

Janela commented on the situation by saying he hit a vein, and blood was squirting out like a super soaker. He stated that it was “wild.”

In another tweet, Janela commented on the match and called it “the wildest lucha brawl of year.” He noted that he feels like hell, but everyone should check it out.

Fightful will have coverage of Zona 23 vs. GCW once it becomes available. GCW owner Brett Lauderdale stated that the event will air on FITE on October 28.
