WWE SmackDown

LA Knight competed in his first match since he dropped the Max Dupri moniker and defeated his former Maximum Male Model client månsôör. After the match, he put the roster on notice.

– Another vignette teased a mystery woman who has aligned with the Viking Raiders.

Bray Wyatt made his return to WWE SmackDown at the end of the show and cut an emotional promo, which ended which a menacing message from a masked man who stated that “you” don’t know who you’re dealing with, but you will soon.

– Rey Mysterio started his night on SmackDown by threatening to quit because he reached the breaking point due to his ongoing issues with his son, Dominik. But by the end of the show, he agreed to move to the blue brand, and he earned a shot at the WWE Intercontinental Championship

NXT star Roxanne Perez appeared on SmackDown and picked Raquel Rodriguez to be Cora Jade’s opponent on next week’s episode of NXT. She, Rodriguez, and Shotzi proceeded to battle Damage CRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai, and IYO SKY) in a six-woman tag team match. Despite an impressive outing from Perez, Bayley pinned her to win the bout.

Omos showed up and confronted Braun Strowman after the latter dominated two local competitors. MVP told Strowman that, next to Omos, he didn’t look like a monster. Instead, he looked normal in comparison.

Karrion Kross was involved in a car accident at the beginning of the show, and Drew McIntyre chose the unfortunate moment to strike; he attacked his foe until officials separated them.

– Despite the ongoing tension between the two men, Jey Uso helped Sami Zayn defeat Kofi Kingston in a singles match. After the match, Zayn took credit for the win, and Uso got frustrated that no one acknowleged his role in the victory.

– Sonya Deville insulted Liv Morgan and stated that she failed when she lost the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Morgan seemingly snapped and brutally attacked Deville backstage. She punctuated the assault by slamming Deville through a table.

– Thanks to timely assists from Santos Escobar amd Zelina Vega, Legado del Fantasma (Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro) defeated Hit Row (Ashante “Thee” Adonis and Top Dolla).

– månsôör commented on his loss to Knight and noted that the group is better off without him.

– In a WWE Digital Exclusive, Mysterio discussed his eventful night and expressed his gratitude to Triple H.

AEW Rampage

– Ethan Page beat Isiah Kassidy. Due to the stipulation of the match, The Firm now owns Matt Hardy’s contract, in addition to that of Private Party (Kassidy and Marq Quen).

– In the opening match, AEW World Champion Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli defeated The Butcher and The Blade. After the bell, Moxley and Castagnoli stated that if Hangman Page doesn’t step up next week, he will get stepped on.

– In an interview with Renee Paquette, Keith Lee criticized Swerve Strickland for cheating to beat Billy Gunn on AEW Dynamite. He noted that if Strickland is swerving into the wrong lane.

– AEW Interim Women’s World Champion Toni Storm and Hikaru Shida previewed their upcoming title match.

– Daniel Garcia explained his decision to betray Bryan Danielson. He stated that Chris Jericho showed him how to win, and he officially declared that he is a sports entertainer.

– The Best Friends (Trent Beretta and Chuck Taylor) and Orange Cassidy challenged Death Triangle (PAC, Penta Oscuro, and Rey Fenix) to a match for them AEW World Trios Championship.

Self-proclaimed TBS Champion Nyla Rose defeated Anna Jay. She and Vickie Guerrero then mocked the legitimate champion, Jade Cargill, charged the ring, but Rose escaped with the title.

– Ari Daivari challenged HOOK to a match for the FTW Championship next week.

– In the main event, Shawn Spears and FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) defeated Brian Cage, Kaun, and Toa Liona of The Embassy. 

The Kingdom (Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, and Maria Kanellis) made its AEW debut at the end of the show by confronting FTR. Kanellis expressed their intent to win the ROH and IWGP Tag Team Titles from FTR. Bennett and Taven, along with Cage, Liona, Kaun, and attacked the duo until WardJoe (Wardlow and Samoa Joe) made the save.

– 10 threw down the gauntlet for a match with RUSH next week on AEW Rampage. If 10 wins, Jose the Assistant must leave him alone. Stu Grayson returned to AEW and reunited with the Dark Order.

Dalton Castle challenged ROH World Champion Chris Jericho to a match for the title, and Jericho accepted.

– In an AEW Rampage Exclusive, Shawn Spears discussed his absence from AEW and his return to the company.

– In a digital exclusive, The Kingdom commented on their arrival in AEW.
