Sammy Guevara Is Not Going To Focus Or Comment On ‘Any Of The Bullshit’
Sammy Guevara is staying positive.
On October 5 it was reported that Sammy Guevara and Andrade El Idolo got into a backstage altercation that saw Andrade get sent home for his action. Sammy remained on AEW Dynamite, winning in the main event alongside Chris Jericho against Daniel Garcia & Bryan Danielson.
Issues between Guevara and Andrade arose after an interview where Andrade said Guevara complained that he hit too hard.
Speaking on his Vlog, Guevara briefly addressed the altercation from AEW Dynamite.
“I know some people want me to comment on what exactly happened backstage at AEW Dynamite. I’m done focusing on the negativity. I feel when you are on this trajectory to where I’m headed, there are going to be people that are going to do everything in their power to try and drag you down to their level. I know I’m above that. I’m not going to focus on any of that bullshit. I’m going to focus on where I’m headed. They say the sky is the limit, but there is a whole universe out there. That’s where I’m headed. I’m not going to focus or comment on any of the bullshit,” he said.
Guevara then said he and his wife Tay Melo like to give five things they are grateful for whenever they think things are too negative. He listed his health, his life, Tay, his job, and his fans as the five things he’s grateful for before once again thanking fans for watching and their overall support.
Andrade was scheduled to face Preston Vance on AEW Rampage before he was sent for home for his part in the altercation, where he reportedly threw punches before things were broken up.
Fightful will continue to update fans on the status of Andrade as more is known. Fans can watch the entire vlog with Sammy in the video above.
