– The Countdown show began with Dirty Dango making his IMPACT Wrestling debut and answering Brian Myers’ Digital Media Championship Open Challenge. Unfortunately for Dango, Myers would retain the title after hitting The Roster Cut.

– The main card of Bound For Glory began with Frankie Kazarian defeating Mike Bailey to win the X Division Championship. Kazarian is now a six-time X Division Champion and holds the belt for the first time since 2011.

– With her career on the line, Mickie James defeated Mia Yim, living to fight another day.

– With a helping hand from Maria Kanellis, Mike Bennett and Matt Taven were able to defeat Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley to retain the IMPACT World Tag Team Titles.

– Jordynne Grace defeated Masha Slamovich, not only retaining her Knockouts Championship but ending the undefeated run of Masha in IMPACT Wrestling. 

– In the main event, Josh Alexander defeated Eddie Edwards to retain the IMPACT World Title. He was then attacked by Honor No More, which brought out Bully Ray, who teased cashing in his Call Your Shot trophy. Instead, he helped Alexander beat them up, ending the show by slamming Mike Bennett through a table.
