He made his in-ring debut on the June 29 taping of AEW Rampage, where he competed in the Royal Rampage battle royale. He faced AEW Interim World Champion Jon Moxley on the July 27 episode of AEW Dynamite. RUSH also competed in the Casino Ladder Match at AEW All Out.
RUSH is a former ROH World Champion, and he had been featured in ROH until he went down with a knee injury in August 2021. He missed the last several months of the year and the beginning of 2022 before he started performing again in Mexico.
Before his prominent run in ROH, RUSH starred in CMLL, and he also competed for AAA. He is a two-time CMLL World Tag Team Champion, among other accolades.
