The Hype Magazine announced that DJ Whoo Kid will be a special guest announcer at AEW Grand Slam.

DJ Whoo Kid is a radio host on Shade 45 and one of the premiere DJs in hip-hop history, hosting mixtapes for rappers such as Eminem, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, J Cole, Lil Kim, D-Block, and more.

“I’m excited to be a part of this event. It promises to have a lot of surprises in store. As a radio personality and co-host, I’m looking forward to branching out and announcing a wrestling match. I hope this is just the beginning of my being part of the AEW family,” said Whoo Kid when speaking to Hype Magazine.

DJ Whoo Kid won’t be the only hip-hop presence on the show as rapper Action Bronson will be in action as he teams with HOOK to face 2point0 (Matt Menard & Angelo Parker).

Fans can find Bronson’s comments on his upcoming AEW in-ring debut by clicking here.

Fightful will have live coverage of AEW Dynamite Grand Slam beginning at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday.
