Tony Khan Would Like To See Eddie Kingston And Sammy Guevara Handle Their Issues Inside The Ring
Tony Khan would like to see Eddie Kingston and Sammy Guevara handle their issues inside of the squared circle.
Eddie Kingston and Sammy Guevara were scheduled to face off at AEW All Out. Eddie cut a promo challenging Sammy to a match at the event but ultimately the match was scrapped following a backstage confrontation between both men which would see Eddie Kingston get suspended.
Both men have since addressed the issue and expressed a desire to move on from the incident but the question remains as to whether or not AEW fans will get to see their on-screen issues be resolved in a wrestling ring.
Sean Ross Sapp asked that very question to Tony Khan during the most recent media call ahead of AEW All Out 2022 and Tony expressed his own desire to see their rivalry culminate in a wrestling ring, but acknowledged that it would require the agreement and full cooperation of both men.
“I’m not sure. At one point, the challenge was out there, but I’m not sure. It’s something to see. Obviously, the two guys have not gotten along, and sometimes that lends itself very well to pro wrestling matches, to see people settle their differences in the ring. That’s what we would all like to see. I would be up for it if it’s something where they both wanted to sign the contract and get in the ring with each other. It takes, in this case, three to tango, and I’m there, but I’m only one of the three,” said Tony.
Currently, Sammy Guevara is not scheduled to compete at All Out. Meanwhile, Eddie Kingston will face Tomohiro Ishii during the Zero Hour event prior to the show. Learn more here.
