WWE RAW Results (8/29/22): Bloodline Appears, Kurt Angle Returns, Tag Title Tournament Finals, More!

We will be bringing you the full results of tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw. On tonight’s episode, WWE will officially crown new Women’s Tag Team Champions in the finals of a weeks-long tournament. Also, Kurt Angle will return to address his hometown crowd in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Bobby Lashley will be in action against The Miz, and The Bloodline will make an appearance on the final Monday Night Raw before WWE Clash at the Castle in Cardiff, Wales!

AJ Styles & Dolph Ziggler vs. Judgment Day
In the end, Styles locked in a Calf Crusher but Finn Balor was able to get to the bottom rope. AJ was able to hit an enzuigiri before Dolph Ziggler tagged in. Unfortunately, Ziggler got caught with the South of Heaven for a Judgment Day victory.
Winner: Judgment Day by pinfall.
– After the match, Edge arrived in Pittsburgh. Judgment Day invites him to the ring. Edge reveals that he did not come alone and The Mysterios attack Judgment Day from behind with a kendo stick. In the end, Dominik Mysterio was not able to hit Rhea Ripley with the kendo stick and actually gave her the Kendo stick instead.
– A recap is shown of Dexter Lumis kidnapping The Miz. The Miz arrives in the arena but refuses to talk about the incident with Dexter Lumis. It was later revealed that Dexter Lumis has been released from prison because of The Miz failed to press charges.
Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss and Asuka vs. Dani Mo, Kay Sparks and Katie Ark
A rare babyface six-woman tag team squash match. Asuka gets the win with an Asuka lock. After the match, they cut a promo saying they will take control at Clash at the Castle.
Winners: Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss, and Asuka
– Kurt Angle appears, but he is interrupted by Alpha Academy. The Academy give Kurt Angle the option of joining them, but he refuses. The Street Profits come out to challenge Alpha Academy 2 a match but if Alpha Academy wins, Kurt Angle must join them.
Alpha Academy vs. Street Profits
Chad Gable and Montez Ford exchanged Ankle Locks in front of Kurt Angle. Otis hits a Splash to break up the hold. Eventually, The Street Profits would get the victory by hitting a Shoulder Block German/Suplex Combo and a Montez Ford Frog Splash on Chad Gable. After the match, Montez and Angelo drink milk with Kurt Angle
Winners: The Street Profits by pinfall.
There is a face-to-face segment with Matt Riddle, who has his first name back, and Seth Rollins. Riddle jokes about Seth Rollins’ wife, Becky Lynch, being the real man of the house. after the segment is done and they go to commercial, they come back from break with unseen footage of the segment where both men curse each other out and Seth Rollins references Matt Riddle going through a divorce.
Bobby Lashley vs. The Miz
The Miz appeared to be ready to hit a Skull Crushing Finale. Dexter Lumis appeared in the crowd distracting him, leading to Bobby Lashley locking in The Hurt Lock for the submission victory.
Winner: Bobby Lashley by pinfall.
– Edge and Kurt Angle have a backstage segment, re-enacting one of their segments from 20 years ago. After that, Dominik and Rey Mysterio appear to have a disagreement about Edge teaming with him at Clash at the Castle. Rey Mysterio insists that he needs experience on his side.
– The Bloodline have an in-ring promo segment which leads to them being interrupted by Kevin Owens. Kevin reminds Jey Uso that he would have been Champion 18 months ago if not for Jey’s interference during Kevin’s matches with Roman Reigns. Kevin tries to talk Sami Zayn out of being paired with The Bloodline comment saying that Sami Zayn forgot that he’s one of the best in the world. This eventually leads to a match between Kevin Owens and Jey Uso.
Kevin Owens vs. Jey Uso
Kevin was able to sneak away with the victory when Sami Zayn had second thoughts about hitting Kevin with a steel chair, leading to Kevin taking advantage of a bloodline conflict by hitting a stunner on Jey Uso for the victory.

– Bayley, Dakota Kai, and IYO SKY hype the Tag Team Championship main event.
– The Miz is shown leaving the arena. He insisted on going home by himself. Dexter Lumis winds up being in the back of his car.
– Johnny Gargano and Theory are shown having a confrontation that took place earlier in the day. Theory says he takes issue with Johnny not calling him during his main roster success. He wishes Johnny good luck on the main roster because now, he’s swimming with sharks.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament Finals: Dakota Kai and IYO SKY vs. Raquel Rodriguez & Aliyah
Kai hits her Comer Kick and SKY hits the Over The Moonsault, but Rodriguez kicks out. Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss, and Asuka chase Bayley away. Meanwhile, Aliyah makes the blind tag as Kai and SKY are distracted. Aliyah rolls up Kai for the shock victory.
Winners and new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions: Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah!
– After the match, all five babyfaces celebrate the new champions as pyro goes off and Bayley looks on with her and her team looking very frustrated.
