Final Viewership For 8/26 WWE SmackDown Dips Just Below Two Million Viewers
The preliminary ratings are in for Friday’s WWE SmackDown.
SpoilerTV reports that the August 26 episode of WWE SmackDown averaged 2.392 million viewers in the preliminary numbers. Both hours reportedly pulled 2.392 million viewers. It should be noted that SmackDown was pre-empted in many markets including Charlotte, Portland, New Orleans, and Las Vegas due to pre-season football.
ShowBuzzDaily reports that the final viewership numbers for WWE SmackDown came in at 1.990 million viewers.
The August 19 episode of WWE SmackDown averaged 2.618 million viewers in the preliminary numbers, but the final viewership number came in at 2.084 million viewers.
The preliminary rating for the August 26 episode was 0.50 in the 18 to 49 demographic, giving FOX the win on broadcast television for the night. This is the same preliminary rating as last Friday. The final rating for last Friday at 0.47.
The final rating for the August 26 episode was a 0.48 in the 18 to 49 demo, still tops on the night for broadcast TV.
