– Dax Harwood faced Jay Lethal in a singles match on Wednesday night. The hard-fought bout concluded with Lethal pulling on Harwood’s tights to clinch the win. After the bell, Sonjay Dutt revealed that FTR and Wardlow will face Lethal and the Motor City Machine Guns at AEW All Out.

– Like Lethal, Colten Gunn scored a tainted win on Wednesday. He defeated his father, Billy Gunn, thanks to some help from Stokely Hathaway. Colten was on cloud nine after this triumph, and he noted that he defeated a Hall of Famer in his second singles match ever.

– Britt Baker gained some momentum ahead of AEW All Out, where she will have the chance to regain her AEW Women’s World Championship. Thunder Rosa announced that she is unable to defend the title due to an injury, so AEW will crown an interim champion at the pay-per-view. Baker will compete in that match, and she defeated KiLynn King on Wednesday night.

– Thunder Rosa reacted to the news about her injury with three broken heart emojis. 

– Miyu Yamashita told Rosa to get well soon.

Jon Moxley shocked the world by defeating CM Punk in a very short match to become the Undisputed AEW World Champion. Punk seemingly re-injured his foot in the match, and officials helped him to the back after the bell.

– Punk hurt his foot when he kicked Moxley during the match. Bobby Fish spotlighted this kick in a tweet.

– Swerve in our Glory agreed to defend the AEW World Tag Team Championship against The Acclaimed at All Out.

– Christian Cage finally accepted Jungle Boy’s challenge to a match at AEW All Out and vowed to prove that the young star isn’t on his level.

– After his win, Jon Moxley laughed off the claim that CM Punk is the best in the world and stated that his time is now.

– Ricky Starks cut an emotional promo about Powerhouse Hobbs’ betrayal and challenged him to a match at AEW All Out. He stated that Hobbs is a snake, and where he’s from, they cut snakes’ heads off.

– In the main event, interference from Kip Sabian helped United Empire defeat Death Triangle and advance to the next round of the AEW World Trios Championship Tournament. Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks confronted United Empire after the match.

– Daniel Garcia refused to choose between being a sports entertainer and a wrestler.

– Chris Jericho stated that he gets pissed off when people call Bryan Danielson the best wrestler in the world because he doesn’t see it. He told Danielson that he knows more about wrestling than the latter ever will. They agreed to face each other at AEW All Out.

– Max Caster emphasized that The Acclaimed are the uncrowned AEW World Tag Team Champions.
