Backstage Notes
– Riddle vs. Kevin Owens was supposed to be the Smackdown post show dark match, produced by Jason Jordan. It was changed to Riddle & Owens vs. Holland & Butch
– Most of the creative for Smackdown was set in stone by
– Jason Jordan also produced Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Garza as the Smackdown dark match.
– The Usos were unable to travel to Montreal for the Smackdown show, which is why the angle about them being “caught up at the border” happened.
– Shane Helms had been specifically assigned Veer matches for months, but wasn’t tasked for WWE Raw.
– Akira Tozawa vs. Shelton Benjamin was filmed for Main Event, produced by Molly Holly.
– Street Profits vs. Alpha Academy was also fillmed for Main Event and produced by Kenny Dyktra.
