AEW Rampage Spoilers For 8/19 (Taped On 8/17)

– After Dynamite went off the air, Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks saved Dragon Lee after RUSH and Andrade El Idolo turned on him.

– Chris Jericho cut a promo on the crowd and took issue with them wanting to see Daniel Garcia join the Blackpool Combat Club. He banned the crowd from singing Judas ever again.

– ROH Champion Claudio Castagnoli and ROH Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta came out. Castagnoli said it was great to be in the ring in front of someone who helped train him, Ricky Steamboat, who was in the front row.  He issued an open challenge for next week, and Dustin Rhodes came out to accept it.

– AEW Tag Team Championship: Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland (c) defeated Private Party. 

– The Factory were playing cards backstage when Powerhouse Hobbs barged in and flipped the table. The group promised to take care of Ricky Starks for Hobbs.

FTW Championship: Hook (c) defeated Zack Clayton in under a minute

– A promo teased Angelo Parker as Hook’s next challenger.

– Buddy Matthews (with Julia Hart) beat Serpentico; Miro came out and brawled with Matthews after the match

– Athena pinned Penelope Ford

– After the match, Kiera Hogan and Red Velvet attacked Athena and hel her as Jade Cargill destroyed Athena’s entrance gear with a sledgehammer. She then came to the ring and hit Athena with the sledgehammer.

AEW World Trios Championship Tournament Quarterfinal: The Best Friends and Orange Cassidy defeated The Trustbusters
