Finals Set In NJPW G1 Climax 32

The finals are set. 

Will Ospreay will meet Kazuchika Okada in the finals of the New Japan Pro-Wrestling G1 Climax 32 tournament on August 18. 

Okada won the A Block in round robin competition and then defeated B Block winner Tama Tonga in the semifinals on August 17. Okada finished off Tonga with a cobra flowsion followed by the rainmaker. 

Ospreay won the D Block in round robin competition and defeated C Block winner Tetsuya Naito in the semifinals in a first-time-ever meeting. Ospreay bested Naito with the hidden blade followed by the storm breaker. 

Ospreay and Okada last met at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 16 when they battled for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. Okada was victorious in the bout. Okada has two straight victorious over Ospreay as he also defeated him at Wrestle Kingdom 15. 

The winner of the G1 Climax 32 tournament will secure a briefcase to challenge for the IWGP World Heavyweight Title at Wrestle Kingdom 17.
