Three Fights Set For UFC Fight Night 113
A trio of fights have been set for the UFC Fight Night 113 card as Paul Craig faces Khalil Rountree, Jack Marshman faces Ryan Janes and Mark Godbeer faces Justin Willis.
Craig (9-1-0) will be looking to rebound from his first professional MMA defeat, which came to Tyson Pedro at UFC 209. Craig has seen eight of his ten bouts as a pro end within the opening round and none of his professional MMA fights have gone the distance.
Rountree (5-2-0) has won just one of three fights under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Daniel Jolly at UFC Fight Night 104. Rountree competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 23, making it to the semi-finals before losing to Josh Stansbury.
Marshman (21-6-0) has won just one of two fights in UFC competition, with that lone win coming over Magnus Cedenblad at UFC Fight Night 99. Marshman is a longtime veteran of the Cage Warriors promotion, where the fighter earned four wins at as a pro.
Janes (9-2-0) has won only one of two fights during his time in the UFC, defeating Keith Berish and suffering a defeat to Gerald Meerschaert. Janes also held the Battlefield Fight League Middleweight Title and he relinquish the gold upon signing with the UFC.
Godbeer (12-3-0) will be looking to build on the momentum of his first UFC win, which came over Daniel Spitz at UFC 209. Godbeer also competed once in the Bellator MMA promotion, losing to UFC veteran Cheick Kongo at Bellator 102.
Willis (4-1-0) will be making his UFC debut in this fight and he will be doing so on the strength of a four fight winning streak. Willis did compete once in the World Series Of Fighting promotion, defeating Juliano Coutinho at the WSOF 31.
UFC Fight Night 113 takes place on Saturday, July 16 from the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event.
