During the chaotic celebration on Sunday at GCW Homecoming Part 2, Blake Christian came to the ring, seemingly in an effort to crash the party. He has been feuding with Cardona in recent months, especially since the latter tore his bicep during a match with Christian at GCW Downward Spiral in May. The Deathmatch King has repeatedly criticized Christian and called him an unsafe worker in a number of tweets. Needless to say, there’s no love lost between the two men.
However, when Christian came to the ring, he surprised the world by hugging Cardona. The fans were already booing Christian, and they made it clear that they weren’t happy to see him hug the former GCW World Champion. Christian jeopardized his progress with Cardona by getting a little handsy when he hugged Chelsea Green, but it seems like that’s water under the bridge.
In a tweet, Cardona stated that he has forgiven Christian for tearing his bicep, and he also called him a class act. He wished Christian well on his future endeavors and told the ladies that Blake is single.
I have forgiven @_BlakeChristian for tearing my bicep.
This guy is a class act…he even showed up to my wedding AND we hugged it out! I wish him well on his future endeavors! And ladies…he’s single!#GCWHomecoming

The ceremony ended with Nick Gage slicing Cardona with a pizza cutter, ruining the celebratory mood. Maven, the officiant, ran away, and Cardona later stated that he wasn’t “tough enough.” More information is available here.
Christian recently stated that he isn’t leaving GCW, but he might not be around as much moving forward. You can check out his comments here.
