Tyler Breeze On Potentially Streaming During A Match: That Could Work, It Would Be New And Exciting

Tyler Breeze would be open to streaming during a match.

Tyler Breeze would be open to streaming during a match.

Outside of his WWE run as an in-ring wrestler, Breeze is known for streaming, particularly on the popular UpUpDownDown YouTube channel.

Speaking with Bill Pritchard of WrestleZone during Starrcast weekend, Breeze was asked about the possibility of streaming during a match to incorporate that into his presentation, he noted that it could work.

“That could work, actually. That would be kinda cool. It’d be something new, something relevant. I think we might have touched on it a little bit when I was doing it, but we never really did anything with it, or it was in its infancy stages anyway. Now it’s obviously a much more easier thing to stream or to do something like that, so it’s definitely a possibility,” Breeze said.

Breeze has been mostly absent from in-ring competition since his WWE release in June 2021. While he has continued to train at his Flatbacks wrestling school, he has otherwise engaged with the wrestling world by appearing at conventions and signings. While he misses the crowd, he stated that nothing substantial needs to be “fixed” in wrestling.

“It depends. The main thing obviously that I miss about wrestling is the crowd. It will always be the crowd. The main thing was when, my last year, the pandemic stuff was going on, and there was no audience. Then it slowly came back, but it wasn’t what it is now. So definitely miss the crowd. In terms of being out here and being kind of amongst everything, there’s really not a whole lot that needs fixing or changing. It’s just kind of, wrestling is gonna be wrestling. It is what it is,” he said.

Claudio Castagnoli recently looked back on playing games on UpUpDownDown with Breeze, Xavier Woods, and Adam Cole. His comments are available here.
