The Workhorsemen are now Wingmen.
The Workhorsemen are now Wingmen.
In a tweet on August 11, Peter Avalon, the majority shareholder in Wingmen Industries LLC, confirmed that Anthony Henry and JD Drake are part of the group, which also includes Ryan Nemeth and Cezar Bononi. He expressed his excitement with the way Excalibur shared the news during the August 10 episode of AEW Dynamite. The broadcaster explained that Henry and Drake are a subsidiary of Wingmen Industries LLC. He also stated that Avalon is the CEO, but it’s unclear what product they make.
In a follow-up tweet, Avalon noted that both he and Henry recently wore “HOT BOY BLUES” for their respective matches, so they’re vibing already.

Drake made his AEW debut in February 2021, and he competes on AEW Dark and Dark: Elevation somewhat regularly. He has been associated with The Wingmen for the past several months, and he has made a handful of appearances on AEW TV. Henry arrived in AEW in September 2021, and he has primarily wrestled on Dark. He has wrestled on AEW Dynamite a few times; most recently, he lost to Luchasaurus on the August 10 episode.
Aside from their work in AEW, The Workhorsemen are a renowned tag team, and they compete all over the wrestling world. They faced KUSHIDA and Ren Narita at NJPW STRONG High Alert.
Wingmen LLC isn’t the only organization looking to make its mark in AEW. Ari Daivari recently struck it rich, and he’s now looking for investments as the leader of The Trustbusters. Daivari will face Orange Cassidy on the August 12 episode of AEW Rampage. More information is available here.
